Direct oceanfront condominium in Hutchinson Island Marriott Resort. Top floor of four-story beachfront building. Corner unit, all redecorated and upgraded 2014-2015. New kitchen 2009-2010, new funiture and HDTV's 2014( 48' & 37'). WIFI. Smart TV with Netflix. New paint, moldings, wainscoting 2015. Absolute best unit, best view. Top floor units have the best views of beach and ocean. If you want to see the beach you will appreciate this unit over all others. Photos are directly from actual unit. Adjacent to Marriott's Tiki Beach Bar open for lunch only. Our tenants have use of all Marriott Resort amenities inluding golf, tennis, resort pools and gym. Boat rentals at marina.

We love the intimacy and slower pace of the Stuart area. The beaches are the best. No over crowding, less traffic and a friendly atmosphere.

What makes this condo unique

Being on the top floor in the corner gives us the best views of the beach and ocean because we are not looking across at the other building like many of the units in these buildings do. It is nice to have the uninterrupted views without 4 floors of condos looking back at you. All we see is ocean and beach. We also have no neighbor above us or next to us, so it is quiet and peaceful. It is imperative to be on the upper two floors if your views are important. The lower floors have limited sight lines of the beach and ocean due to the seagrape and dunes.

Amazing - best family vacation ever!!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay. Everything was perfect.

The condo was beautiful. Amazing view. Loved sitting out on the balcony for all of our meals. That ocean breeze is fantastic.

Relaxing and great family time. We celebrated my daughters 22nd birthday while there.

We would love to come back!

Awesome Experience!

The condo has been updated and feels like home. All of the furniture, sheets, kitchen appliances, etc are not cheap at all which was important to us because we stayed a month. And the location can't be beat! Steps to the pool, beach, and importantly the tiki bar. The owners are very friendly and responsive to any needs. We will definitely try and stay again!

Our Two Weeks in Paradise~

We have rented this unit from Peter at least 5 times and we are NEVER disappointed. Everything is as stated and he is a pleasure to deal with. His unit is beautifully maintained, nicely equipped, conveniently located to nearby Downtown Stuart, Downtown Jensen Beach, etc... One of our favorite features is the comfortable king size bed in the master bedroom. You can view the magnificent sunrise without getting out of bed. Breathtaking! :-) We were lucky enough to witness nesting sea turtles @ dusk, emergent sea turtles going to sea for the first time, green sea turtles @ nearby Bathtub reef, enjoyed Jammin Jenson's (every Thursday, except Thanksgiving Day), Prawnbrokers, Luna's & Shuckers for some meals. Plus, the Blue Door coffee shop in downtown Stuart, a real treat. Mostly though, we keep returning to this condo and location because of Peter, it's safe, beautiful beach walks, surfing for my teenage daughter, and the general small to mid size Old Florida Town atmosphere. We love IRP!

Girls Beach Trip

We just got back from our annual Girls Week Away! We had a wonderful stay at the Beach House! The condo was just perfect! The kitchen was well stocked for everything we needed, the deck was large with plenty of room for 4 to view the magical sunrises and spend evenings enjoying the ocean views. The loggerhead turtles were nesting every night--it was an amazing site to watch. The local restaurants served delicious seafood and we all came back a few pounds heavier! We just loved the area and accommodations. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us. Hope to return!!!

Disappointing from start to finish

1. We sent a cashier’s check for the full amount. We requested notification when it was received, but never heard back. After contacting the owner we were told he had received it, but a receipt was never sent. This made us nervous with talk of vacation rental scams in the news.

2. The condo unit is in an older building, built in 1977. Nothing about this unit says, “Penthouse” except that it is on the top floor. The ceilings are low at 8 feet high and the rooms are small. The carpet in the master bedroom is old. Bathrooms are standard rental unit, nothing special. The view is not a direct one of the ocean, as you are at an angle in the middle of the building. In fact, you overlook the pool and tiki bar area of the Marriott resort next door. I imagine it might get loud in high season.

3. We experienced a mildew smell upon arrival. It was so bad that I had a sore throat and headache after a few hours. We decided to leave early, even though the odor seemed to improve. I emailed the owner and he said he would look into it, but we never received any further correspondence.

4. I had to inquire twice about the return of our security deposit. It took the 30 days and then some from our checkout date to receive it. There were only two of us in the unit for 2 nights, so really there was no excuse for it taking that long.

Just really disappointed with the whole experience!

Owner's Response: This is the first negative review we have ever received on our condo in the 12 years we have been renting it. It certainly got our attention when the guest called to say that they were leaving two days early of their four day stay. The guest said that there was a strong odor of mildew that we took very seriously and immediately called our maintenance person, housekeeper and air conditioning service company. All three went to the condo within 24 hours and did an in depth inspection of the entire unit, including walls, carpeting in bedrooms, tile floors, furniture and the a/c unit. They found nothing wrong and did not smell any mildew. (My housekeeper prides herself on her attention to detail and sensitive nose.) We constantly update our condo and add new features or amenities each year. There is a good reason why our unit is rented more than any other in these buildings. You can see by our calendar. Also, the unit was rented by numerous people after this guest checked out and there was not one complaint about condition of the unit or anything but praise for the views. The first guest moved in 3 days after this guest left and had no issues with mildew or views. The photos on our site are actual views from the rooms and balcony. The ocean and beach are the best in either of these buildings and has been mentioned in previous reviews. You can see that the view is panoramic. I know that some people can be more sensitive to smells than others and we tried to find a problem to address, but we were not able to find one. I am very aware of a mildew smell and would not tolerate it in my home. I am sorry that this quest did not enjoy their stay and I wish that I could have found the problem that they mentioned.
