Great place downtown
We had a wonderful spring break. Great location. Walk to restaurants and shops. Super comfortable and easy to book.
Property made us feel right at home.
Great restaurants within walking distance. Large windows with amazing views of the ski jumps in town. Comfortable beds and linens.
Amazing location! Great views, overall a wonderful experience and stay.
Wonderful outdoor space and patios. Steam shower in master bath was incredible. Loved our time in this downtown condo.
Perfect location in downtown Steamboat Springs. Only 1/2 block from the free transit service which only takes 10 to 15 minutes to get to the gondola base of the ski resort! The property manager is excellent at returning inquiries about the property or dining suggestions. The condo is well equipped and clean. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a convenient location at a reasonable price.
One of my favorite places
Just stayed here for the third time and I truly love it. Great location, great views (one night we watched people ski jumping on Howelson Hill out the dining room windows) and the condo itself is pretty spectacular. Not a negative thing to say. The place is fabulous.
Lovely propety with a few exceptions
Inside the property was wonderfully appointed and tastefully decorated. We had originally rented a house and that was cancelled, so we were given this place in the Victoria instead. We had two main problems with the place. One, we couldn't seem to get the temperature to a comfortable place. We were either too hot or too cold. The only thermostat we found was upstairs in the master bedroom - didn't help downstairs where we spent most of our time. The second problem was noise from outside. The loud snow plows operated most nights and during the night (don't know if they are stationed right outside this building?) and the ttrash truck one morning at 7am, plus the train. We had an infant with us and she was awakened by these noises often, as were we. We would choose a place out of town next time.
Thanks Paula, I appreciate the feedback. There is only 1 thermostat in the property with the 2 fireplaces, so sometimes running them can throw off the temperature control. I wish you would have reached out so we could have come by to help get the temperature just right for you all. As far as the noises, staying way out of town would be about the only way to ensure you aren't woken by them. Plows run day and night to ensure the roads, parking lots and sidewalks are kept as clear as possible. Unfortunately you are going to hear this downtown, on the mountain or in neighborhoods when there is snow falling. The train does run through town and garbage trucks are a part of any neighborhood a few days a week. Sorry this made the stay less than ideal! I hope you do make it back to Steamboat one day and can find the perfect spot.
