This is a family owned and operated beach and bay condo. The condo complex is a quiet, a strictly enforced no loud partying or loud music allowed condo building…a great place to relax and enjoy the bay. This condo is one of four vacation rental units in this complex. The other three condos are VRBO listing #607729 (which is a 2 bedroom and 2 bath condo in the same complex on the bay), a new VRBO listing #857732 (a 4 bedroom and 2 bath condo in the same complex), and a new VRBO listing #857733 (a one bedroom and one bath condo in the same complex). This is a condo located on the bay. The condo is one floor above street level and the beach is one level below street level, which you would take the stairs down to get there. The condo is just blocks away from restaurants and shopping. The condo overlooks the bay, beach, and the boardwalk. Great bay and beach views from the living room, dining room, second bedroom and kitchen. One large private balcony off the living room to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets . This condo is centrally located to San Diego county's most popular attractions including SeaWorld, world famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Seaport Village, La Jolla, Downtown San Diego's Gas Lamp Quarter, Coronado, Del Mar and much more.

The rent and damage deposit are to be paid with either a Credit or Debit Card through HomeAway Payments. Please check the calendar for open dates, and check the rates section for specific rates. There are 4 to 7 night minimums for reservations that are based on the time of the year. During the month of May there is a 5 night minimum. During the months of June, July and August the unit is only available on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday.

Cancellation of the reservation dates at least 60 days before the start of the stay will get a 100% refund of all monies paid. There are no refunds of the rent, taxes, and cleaning fee for cancellations or changes to the reservation dates that are less than 60 days to start of stay, but there will be a refund of the damage deposit if paid and the amount paid for the Property Damage Protection Policy. If the rent, taxes, damage deposit, and cleaning fee are not paid by 60 days to start of stay, you will lose 100% of your rent deposit and lose the reservation, but you will be refunded the amount you paid for the Property Damage Protection Policy. Notice of cancellation or changes to the reservation dates must be in writing via email or mail.

Amenities: this is a secured building that includes a private 2 car parking spot. Washer and Dryer in the unit, there is Wi-Fi, flat screen television, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, and beach towels, pack n play, and a high chair.

Note: I am charging less than other comparable properties with a goal to rent out the condo more often.

Perfect location with a gorgous view

Great place to stay! Perfect location, beautiful view, and very nice/clean condo. Would definitely recommend this unit for a family as there are 4 bedroom which is extremely rare for the area. The exterior of the building is a bit dated, but the actual unit is updated and very, very pretty.

Great Family Retreat

We were able to book this wonderful condo July 7th-July 15th. The owner Fred, was a wonderful host. We were able to meet at the appointed time, which is a great relief when booking a vacation for such a large group. The condo is in wonderful shape. It is a very spacious and great space, it easily accommodated the 10 people in our party. The master bedroom was a great retreat, when it was time for my wife and I to retire from the rest of the group.

The location of the condo is very centrally located for all the great attractions in San Diego. The beach access for this place was our main reason for booking this place. the end of mission bay that this condo is located, is quite and family friendly. There is no hustle and or noise from the beach below. Our family found it great to be able to have nightly bonfires and enjoy the scenery.

The building is an older building, so there is some noise that can be heard from the upstairs neighbors. The great thing is that the owner does only rent to families, and with a quick notice to the upstairs neighbors, it was something that was easily resolved.

We really loved our time there and look forward to future bookings. Thank you again Fred for the great place and all the accommodations.

Well kept, tidy, clean and the best location on the Bay.

A great house to stay in. With all my grandkids in tow, there were plenty of room to roam. Walking distance to restaurants, rentals , Belmont park, shopping and many other beaches. The management was accomodating as needed. Highly recommended !

Gorgeous views, easy to get to, great communication, very clean and spacious

We were traveling to San Diego to meet family and wanted a place close to the water, but not overly busy. Our group consisted of 5 adults and 2 children, and we were meeting up with my in-laws. Fred's place served our needs very well.

First off, his communication before arrival is excellent. The place is about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport and that was during rush hour. He was there to greet us and go over the property on arrival. The condo is right on the beach and the views are amazing, especially during sunset. Bedrooms are spacious, both bathrooms were accommodating, and the living room was set up nicely for our group of seven. There is an approximately 5 mile long walking trail that goes around mission bay, which we took advantage of each morning. The complex also has a kayak, beach board, and beach chairs for use. Belmont park is pretty close by, as well as several wonderful restaurants and a large grocery store. We only put 62 miles on our rental over a full 4 day period, if that tells you anything. The two parking spots are back-to-back facing the street and it's a 25 mph zone, so relatively easy to back out onto.

A few of my favorite things about this place were watching the rowers training in the early morning with a cup of coffee. Having a beach day with the family and the ability to run back into the condo every time we forgot something. And lastly, the relaxing atmosphere of the bay. We sat on the balcony and had beverages most nights and watched the boats sail by and people on the walking trail.

The entire neighborhood felt very safe and we could not have enjoyed our vacation more. If we travel back to San Diego in the future, we will be staying here again. Thank you.

Great property

Great rental for families. Fully equipped with everything you'll need. beach toys were even provided for the kids and also a kayak and surf board. A couple if things i think important to note the unit doesnt have AC but with the breeze from the bay coming through, the condo stayed nice and cool except for the bedrooms which at times were a little warm especially the back master bedroom, but fans are provided in all rooms. Also a family stayed in the unit right above us and with it being an older condo we could hear every step, their kids running and if they dropped something so that was a bit difficult to deal with especially when trying to nap after a long day in the sun. Last thing would be that there aren't any Tv's in any of the bedrooms. I thought that to be strange but we did take our laptop and that helped. Overall my family and I had a great time and we are already planning to stay again and I have already recommended this place to a few of our friends.
