Luxurious Guest Suite with Kitchenette
About Laura Andrews
We fell in love to the music of New Orleans and once we visited we felt like we were home and we never wanted to be anywhere else. This magical city, its music and people have captured our hearts, and we hope it will capture yours.
Laura Andrews purchased this House in 2015
Why Laura Andrews chose Marigny
Our home is an historic side hall shotgun built in 1865 and recently restored with loving detail. We purchased this house after hunting for a home in this neighborhood--the Marigny Triangle-- for nearly a year. It is exquisite and immediately took our breath away. We are proud to be able to offer the front rooms as a luxurious and private retreat for the discerning traveler.
What makes this House unique
The location of our home is perfect! It is a quiet, historic residential neighborhood within walking distance of the French Quarter, Frenchmen Street and the hip and trendy Bywater. The original wood floors, high ceilings, crown moldings and fireplaces offer a tantalizing mixture of luxury and old world charm.

Quick middle of the week birthday get away
This was our first trip to NOLA and upon arrival, we were a little concerned about the neighborhood. But, as I learned from our visit most things in New Orleans are not what they seem from the outside. The Marigny was great. We felt totally safe while we were there and walked or Ubered to everything. There's a great breakfast spot Horns right down the street.
I would recommend walking to the French Quarter, doing the hop on hop off bus tour is worth your time. If you get the 3 day ticket, they include guided tours for the French Quarter and the Garden District. We also did an afternoon food tour in the Garden District which was so much fun and would highly recommend. Frenchman street is within walking distance, it is a great place to go and listen to music. Laura was a great hostess and we would stay here again.
We enjoyed staying at a historical home in a quite neighborhood. We were steps from breakfast or jazz yet tucked away on a tranquil street with curbside parking. We walked to the French Quarter daily and enjoyed the Marigny music at night. I would describe the abode as cozy, clean, charming and convenient.
Perfect Big Easy Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, but close to all the goodness of the French quarter. Pictures are accurate. The rooms were clean and stocked with everything you could think of, even down to a bottle of wine and some chocolates. Walked to everything: the breakfast restaurant around the corner, the International Market, Frenchmen Street for great music, and Jackson Square with all its variety of food and fun. Looking forward to our next visit and another stay at this property.
First time to NO and we had a blast. The cottage was within walking distance to the French quarter and we always felt safe. Comfortable! The only reason we give it four stars instead of five is the pillows on the bed. If you can, bring your own because they were pretty uncomfortable. Thanks again!
So glad you enjoyed your trip. I wish you had told me you were not comfortable with the pillows. I would have been happy to accommodate your needs during your stay.
Great Stay in Marigny!
Fantastic VRVO experience. Excellent location.
Comfort and Class
This was our 14th trip to the New Orleans French Quarter Festival and our first stay at the Faubourg Marigny. We received a warm greeting from the owners and quickly settled into to the comfortable and well designed apartment. We found the location to be perfect for our stay, close enough to the Quarter to enjoy the festival and a short walk to Frenchman Street's night spots. If you and your significant other are planning a trip to the Big Easy this would be a perfect place to land.
The Fleur de Marigny Guest Suite is located in the historic Faubourg Marigny which is adjacent to the French Quarter and is 1.5 blocks from Frenchmen Street-known as the locals choice for live music at DBA, The Spotted Cat and the world famous Snug Harbor to name just a few.The French Quarter is a four block leisurely stroll away. The Super dome is located 1.8 miles from the Marigny area. Streetcar access is two blocks away on St Claude.
