About Kevin Comiskey
I (Ms. Kevin) grew up in Colorado and San Francisco-- I have lived in Oregon for 45 years. I went to college at Middlebury and San Francisco State. My husband Jerry is a retired architect, builder, and a present farmer. I feel I am a citizen of the world; I speak Italian and French (sufficiently :) ) and just love listening to tales of the rest of the world. We have a dog, two cats and chickens. I love traveling, especially to Italy, France and Sweden--- and have former exchange students and foreign friends over the globe. Come become one of them!
Kevin Comiskey purchased this Guest House in 1983
Why Kevin Comiskey chose Umpqua
We bought it 33 years ago because of the four huge walnut trees, the rich farmland, breathtaking river and riverbank----and the big field surrounded by big trees, with a view of mountains. The Guesthouse was my mother's former home-- and her cheerful spirit still fills it with light.
What makes this Guest House unique
One of the best things about living here is sitting in the front window and watching the weather come in over the wild Coast Mountains and down into the valley; all seasons have their fascinations, and the nature surrounding us is always changing.
