About Tracey Arvieux
We purchased this home for our family because we fell in love with the area. When we came to view the house there were deer sleeping in the backyard. It is so peaceful here. We have remodeled it to how we like it for fun and relaxation. We had to move to Phoenix to work but do not want to let our home go so we are hoping this will help us pay to keep it in our family.
Tracey Arvieux purchased this House in 2011
Why Tracey Arvieux chose Flagstaff
This is the best neighborhood in Flagstaff for the experience of the Ponderosa forest, we call the master bedroom our tree house because when you lay in bed all you can see are trees and its very relaxing. Flagstaff and Northern Arizona have so much to offer but the best is just sitting on the deck watching the elk walk by.
What makes this House unique
Great outdoor space. Custom home. Beautiful woodwork and stone work. Quiet and private. Lots of wildlife. This is the best house to stay if you want to see wildlife. Best Location in Flagstaff for vacation and relaxation.

Cozy and relaxing
We just got home from our 4 night stay at this wonderful cabin! We had the absolute best time and got a ton of much needed relaxing in. Tracey was very helpful and had great communication before and during our stay. The cabin was stocked with all the necessities needed for our stay. All we had to bring was our food. We enjoyed relaxing on the huge deck! And we saw elk and deer every single day. It was wonderful being able to bring our dogs with us! The dog run and the ability to close off the deck was amazing. Plus we got to have one incredible snow day while we were there! Thank you for providing a cozy cabin for a lovely family getaway.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! We really are lucky to have such a special spot. Hope to see you back. Tracey
Our stay for our daughter’s NAU greaduation was perfect! Tracey's home was quiet, comfortable and an ideal for our family stay. The outdoor patio was the perfect place for our family get together to celebrate graduation. The patio is large with plenty of seating and surrounded by pines. Check in and out was seamless and Tracey was readily available if needed.
I would highly recommend this home for your stay in Flagstaff! Thank you Tracey!
A Great Space for Families/Pets
Meeting up w our daughter, two granddaughters and the last two days
our son in law for Spring Break.
HOUSE:The master suite and reading/ office cubby are upstairs. The other two bedrooms/loft are on first level. There are three seating areas on first level including a sunroom w seating for 4, a living room are w a LARGE couch (seating for 4-6) and finally the dining room w seating for 6 (8 if you squish in). The kitchen was well-stocked w a wide variety of spices, olive oil, canola oil and a variety of snacks and fridge/freezer “left behind” by previous guests..soooo CHECK those expiration dates. It has a large gas stove/oven. Tons of pots/pans/lids, utensils, silverware, “some” tupperware-like containers, great selection of mixing bowls/pyrex. Basic set of matching 6 plates, 6 salad bowls and 2 small cereal bowls...and 3 LARGE cereal bowls(solid colors). I think we gathered up about 6 coffee cups/mugs from all the diff cupboards. There were about 10-12 glasses ( large/small, glass/plastic). We used toss-away plates/glasses most of the time. The washer/dryer was wonderful touch for our weeklong stay.
BACKYARD: I walked out on the back deck and just said OH COME ON! The back deck is HUGE. There is a fire pit (uses propane) , a table w 6 chairs, 4 cute random chairs and while we didn’t use it...a HUGE lounge set grouping and around the corner...a gas grill (we used it two nights).then you walk down the steps to a flat grassy area...large enough for a 6 yo to play whiffle ball. We also discovered the zip line.THAT was awesome. We all zipped it from 3 to 71....it was fabulous
Pets: This is a pet friendly house. There is a doggy door ( medium and smaller) from sunroom to side fenced dog run (DO clean up after your pets) w a pooper scooper tool provided. The house is mainly carpet....so if your dogs are accident prone watch them closely and kennel them when you leave the house. It was a perfect set up for our medium size dogs....
That about does it..happy travels!
A wonderful Christmas
We spent Christmas with our family in this house. It was wonderful! Well stocked with just about everything you can imagine. Our 2 boys, ages 16 and 13 found plenty to do to keep themselves busy. We enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and a hike to Fishers Point.
The house is spacious but still has a cozy feeling to it. Saw a few deer!
The only thing missing for us was snow!!
Communication with the owner was great!
Would love to stay here again!
Great accommodations in a beautiful location
Couldn’t have been happier
This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. We especially loved the deck and ate all of our meals out there. One morning the squirrels decided to entertain us and one evening a Momma Deer with her baby walked by. Not to mention the daily visit from the neighborhood elk!
Gaining entry was so easy. I just had to text the owner and she would unlock the door remotely. The master bedroom was upstairs, away from the other rooms and was absolutely dreamy and romantic. Husband and I would enjoy sitting out on the deck with our glass of wine. Loved the bathroom too. Only thing was that the spa jets had been disabled which was slightly disappointing but did not take away from me enjoying a decadent candlelit bath. (every night). The bed was so comfortable too!
One thing to keep in mind that the house is not centrally air conditioned. However there is one portable AC unit in the master bedroom. And those Flagstaff nights are so amazingly cool. So unless you are there in the heat of the summer, you will be just fine (plus they have fans in every room)
A wonderful home with everything you would need to make your vacation seem like you are staying home.
Flagstaff Urban Trails Systems connects to the neighborhood. Hiking trail at the end of the street to scenic Fisher Point overlooking Walnut Canyon National Park.
