List of defects and owners response
We are sending you the following list of issues as a courtesy.
1.Trash can and recycle can full. I put on street this morning.
2.No blinds or lined drapes in bedrooms. We used sheets to cover the windows.
3. Several lights burned out.
4. Coffee pot had dried out coffee in it.
5. Microwave light out.
6.Towel racks in all full baths missing.
7.Several nail heads on deck are raised - SAFETY ITEM.
8. Arm on dinning room table chair broken. Table and placemats dirty!
9.Toilet paper holders in the half bath and the upstairs shared bath are loose.
10. Smoke detector in the right front bedroom missing - SAFETY ITEM AND POSSIBLE LAWSUIT.
11. A/C could not maintain set point.
12.Large spider web in downstairs bedroom. See photo.
13.Dryer is slow to dry. The vent line may be plugged. See photo.
14. Master bathroom toilet leaks.
15.Washer broken. I had to take clothes out, wring by hand and take to local laundry mat yesterday.
15.Dishwasher broken, loaded last evening and it would not start.
16. Molded rug in front of downstairs bedroom door, very unsanitary.
We were in town for a wedding and to say we were disappointed by the accomodations would be an understatment! We do not normally complain, as we are aware that anyplace can have a few issues but your condo is in complete disrepair and if you expect to rent or sell it is going to take extensive repair!
Chuck- First I would like to apologize for all the inconvenience caused to you . Second I had a group of guests and who vacated the house just few hours before you checked in so literally the cleaners had to scramble to get it ready as the guests left the house in a complete mess. I will refund you the cleaning charges.Here is my response to the issues .
1. The last guests have left so much mess that it just filled up all the trash cans .
2.We have been getting conflicting feedback as some of them complains that we don't have when we had blinds and vice versa so we have stopped messing with that.
3.Since the guests checked out few hours before you checked in we didn't had time to check that out but since you have brought it up I have already informed the handy man to replace it tomorrow. If you could have informed me earlier I would have got that replaced immediately.
4.My apologies for that as the cleaners missed it as they tried to clean up all the mess in such a short span of time but they missed this.
5. I already have a spare bulb for the microwave in the drawer

Awesome owners! The place was tidy and well maintained. The beds are EXTRA comfy. The bed rooms are spacious with good size beds. Will be back if we are in NC again!

We stayed this weekend for a friends get together. Very spacious house & well kept. Enjoyed the location!
The home was awesome! It had everything we needed. Very clean & neat and smelled great. Very convenient to Raleigh Metro area.
Nice place convenient to food and fun
My family was in town for a hockey game and stayed at this house. There is a ton of space and enough bathrooms for everyone. Loved the gas fireplace too! My dad said his bathroom wasn’t completely clean, but otherwise we had no issues. There is a fully functioning kitchen, if you are staying a while and want to cook. Would definitely stay again. :)

We love the area and its proximity to the airport as well as the universities. The house is seemingly clean and kept! We were excited to see a few plastic plates for the kids!
We felt that there were many minor adjustments that needed to be made with supply levels, drains, and attending to a few broken things throughout the house. The owners said that they would attend to them when we left? Hopefully that will provide for an even better stay to those after us.
Overall a good place to stay.

Regarding those very very minor adjustments we were already aware of it but the last guest didn’t want to be disturbed by taking care of these very minor adjustments as it was not impacting him in any way and unfortunately you were checking in the same day he was checking out hence we could not attend to it so we had scheduled a tech to come out on Monday after you have checked out which he did and he has taken care of all those minor adjustments .
