About Jessy Martin

I love West Asheville ( the local's Asheville). My favorite past times include hiking, biking, and spending time with my dogs. I love the location of my home and the many bars and restaurants West Asheville has to offer.

Jessy Martin purchased this house in 2008

Why Jessy Martin chose West Asheville

Purchased in 2008, this house was the first I ever owned. I fell in love on the spot and over the years I have worked hard to bring this 1942 house into the new millenium. I purchased the house because of it's amazing location and spacious backyard. Even though it's located on a main thoroughfare it doesn't feel busy in the home and in the backyard.

Fabulous location, delightful space

  • 5 of 5

My husband, mother-in-law, preschooler, and I had a wonderful time in Asheville. The home was the perfect size and location. We could walk to coffee shops, a toy store, and the famous Biscuithead. The interior is simple and minimally decorated, which provides a calm and soothing escape from the chaos and busy-ness of everyday life. We will definitely consider renting again for our next trip to Asheville.

We had 4 people and it was perfect! Walking distance to cool bars and restaurants in West asheville and only a $15 uber downtown. Highly recommended for visitors to Asheville!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We loved it. The house was nice and clean. The VRBO name is not misleading, it was truly walkable to W. Asheville which is good as parking in W. Asheville can be tough. Easy drive down Haywood St. to River Arts District and downtown.

Comfortable home-away-from-home close to cool West Asheville zone

  • 4 of 5

This house was just a short walk from Haywood St., West Asheville's main drag which has great restaurants, coffee shops, and other shops. It was comfortable and quiet and met all our needs. The upstairs bedroom's futon was worn down on the sitting side, making for an uneven sleeping experience that could work for 1 person but probably not two. And the floors were a little dirty. But there's a new washing machine and dryer, fully appointed kitchen, and a big bin full of Asheville tips and info.

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

We arrived early and Jessy allowed us to check in a little early which was great. House had everything we needed for our stay and a lot of information summarized in a notebook to clue us in on great restaurants and venues. It was clean and spacious and allowed us to spread out.

Location was superb. Neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of a lot of great restaurants. Overall it was a great trip and great place to stay.
