About Laurie Stover
We bought this property in 2004 and have lived here as a family until 2015. We enjoyed raising our children in a quiet place surrounded by nature.

Why Laurie Stover chose Orrtanna
The second we pulled into the driveway, we knew it was our future home. The charm and the view first drew us in. This has been a quiet place for us to unwind with our friends and family. It's a great property for entertaining and all who come here seem to immediately head straight to the porch.
What makes this House unique
Beautiful views of Adams County from the porch swing on the screened in front porch! Cozy fireplace and nice quiet evenings.

The cabin was spacious and clean and it had everything in it needed to enjoy our stay! Laurie was responsive and easy to communicate with. I will make sure to stay here again!
We had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful, clean, and had all of the amenities we needed for our long weekend. Laurie was very responsive to our questions and did everything she could to get us into the home promptly in the midst of an unexpected early snow!
The perfect home rental experience
This property is perfectly appointed to work for a family stay. We were 6 adults, and each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. Place is super clean, and stocked with everything you need. Historic cabin with updated expansion and renovation. Porch is amazing. Wake up early to catch the sunrise. Owner is very responsive to all inquiries.
All about family time
We felt right at home the minute we walked in, very inviting and comfortable. With family spread east and west, being able to spend time together is precious. It is the prefect place for relaxing, talking and dining, just doesn't get any better. The porch is a great place for a cup of coffee as you watch the sun come up.
Amazing Property/Amazing Owners
For our 25th annual Labor Day outing, six of us found this fabulous vacation spot. Everything about the house, location, and owners was beyond all our expectations. We cannot speak highly enough of Laurie. She replied to our initial booking as well as all subsequent emails in a more than timely manner. The house is very clean and very well stocked for guests. Biggest kitchen we've every had the pleasure of working in. The view from the screened-in porch is spectacular and there is a winery a short walk away! What more could you want? We went into Gettysburg on our last evening and with Laurie's recommendation enjoyed an amazing dinner at the Farnsworth House Inn. You really need to enjoy this wonderful piece of tranquility. Just don't plan on Labor Day 2019. It will be booked!
Great place, beautiful and serene
This is our second time staying at the RidgeTop log home. We truly enjoyed the stay, it’s a wonderful home and a Big Thank You to the host Laurie!
Our home is located on a beautiful mountain vista just off Old Rte. 30 overlooking Historic Gettysburg. Old Rte 30 was used by General Robert E. Lee and the Confederate Army on their way into Gettysburg. The Cashtown Inn Restaurant is located just below the property. We are just a short drive to the battlefield, local wineries, restaurants, Appalachian Trail, Caledonia State Park as well as other area activities and attractions.
