I am a veterinarian and have live in Bozeman since 2000. For may years I worked as a wildlife veterinarian, providing veterinary oversight on local and international studies of carnivore populations; cougars, wolverines, and bears in the the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, and tigers, leopards, and bears in the Russian Far East. In the most recent years, I have been raising a beautiful daughter, and running a small animal hospital in Bozeman. This is a beautiful area and this house is such a tranquil retreat. I love it.
Owner/Manager purchased this House in 2000
Why Owner/Manager chose Bozeman
Although only 10 miles from downtown Bozeman, this property is secluded and serene. It has easy access to wonderful outdoor activities including downhill and cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, golfing, hunting, and snow shoeing. Downtown is only 10 miles away, but feels a lot further!! There are a billion stars at night, and I sleep outside every chance I get. In the right times of the year you can hear the coyotes, bugling elk, and sometimes even wolves.
What makes this House unique
I fell in love with this home because of the wonderful views. The woods outside the dining room have deer in them all the time. In fact, a doe comes every year to have her babies here! We have horses too, so watching them from the kitchen table with my morning cup of coffee is very special. Last year a bull moose spent a few days in our field wooing a female in estrus. That was amazing!!

Peaceful and beautiful house with fantastic views
My mother and I loved staying in the house. The peaceful setting in Bridger Canyon was perfect as were breakfasts outside on the back patio amidst the trees. The deck has great views of the canyon and the house is the perfect distance from town; in the country but not too far. The kitchen was super well equipped and we had everything we needed for cooking.
Thanks for all your nice comments, and for the nice spoon holder. I love it. Take care,
Lovely furnished home. Very comfortable feeling.well stocked with basic needs like coffee and tea 😊
Beautiful setting with beautiful views. Quiet. Horse and foal on property. Friendly dogs. Kathy the homeowner welcomed my mother and made her feel very welcome.
Perfect vacation home in Bozeman
You can't ask for a better place to stay. The home was comfortable and beautiful, and just the right distance outside of Bozeman to give you a peaceful escape while allowing easy trips into town for the fun activities, restaurants, and nightlife. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We loved spending time with the horses and dogs on the property, too. I can't think of a better way to spend a vacation in Bozeman.
Fantastic and cozy property in great scenery but also close to Bozeman.
Really nice property - very well equipped kitchen - nice hottub and really friendly dog and horses that my kids played with for hours. A great place. Owner was very helpful and always responded to what we needed.
Lovely home in country setting, but still close to Bozeman
Lovely two bedroom home in a beautiful country setting. Quiet and peaceful. A real vacation from our city lives while only 10 minutes from town. The caretaker had dogs, cats and a mare with her two month old colt and although they are on the property, they stay in their separate spaces. We fed the horses carrots, which was a lot of fun with such a new baby. Sitting on the deck and just enjoying the view was so relaxing. The house is fully stocked with everything a visitor would need. Very clean and comfortable for a small group. Would love to go back sometime.
my bother and I spend a week there while on a fly fishing trip. The house wIas perfect for us. Great porch to sit out and enjoy the morning and evenings and watch the Elk. Saw more than 50 on most evenings. As an added bonus ther resident horse had a foul while we were there. Cozy house for a week.
