Incredible beachfront, two-story condominium on the sand, with white-water ocean views from the minute you walk in the front door. Located by the access to the Pismo Beach State Park beach, where vehicles may be driven on the beach. Built in 1991 in a complex of only five units in Oceano, a small town just three miles south of Pismo Beach off Highway 1. Subterranean gated parking for 2 vehicles.
Enjoy swimming, surfing, surf fishing, horseback riding, bird watching, or whale watching from your private balcony patio. ATVs may be rented close by, and ridden on the beach and dunes one mile south. Magnificent sunsets, too.

We own a small hotel in Palm Springs called A Place in the Sun. Our kids are up north now (one in Santa Cruz and one in San Francisco), so this location works great for us, just about halfway!
Norma and Ron Van Meeteren purchased this condo in 2005
We have always wanted a place right on the beach, so chose to buy this rental. We use it as much as we can when it's not rented. We lived in this area many years ago, and are so happy to be back, if only part-time!
You can fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves, watch incredible sunsets from your private patio(s). You can even see pods of whales, and dolphins and seals playing in the surf, from the privacy of your own balcony patio. Some GREAT restaurants close by, too.
Four of us stayed at this wonderful condo to ring in the New Year 2016. Location is ON THE SAND with a wonderful view of the sand dunes and drivers on Grover Beach! While driving on the sand "is a must" (which we've done many times), it's worth the price of admission to watch those not paying attention getting stuck! Each night, over appetizers and vino, we had a front row seat to watch the festivities! The house was well stocked with everything needed from linens to cookware (however, we brought all the food with us and I prepared it there). Waking up to coffee each morning, sitting outside on the deck watching the surfers (or those stuck in the sand) made our entire experience worthwhile. The weather was absolutely perfect and walks on the beach are a must. Driving through all of the little towns nearby (Shell Beach, Grover Beach, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, etc.) and don't forget the Monarch Butterfly Grove (a must each time we come)! A great big thank you to the owners for providing us with such a wonderful location and memories! Until next time!
My husband , daughter & boyfriend spent 3 absolutely perfect days in this wonderful home. Perfect location , right on the sand in Oceano Beach. House was clean and comfortable. Listened to the waves crash on the shore as we slept every night. Peaceful
& relaxing. House was well stocked with extra blankets, towels, kitchen appliances and cookware. We took morning walks on the beach with our coffee and had bonfires at night right outside the condo. The only complaint I have us that we didn't stay longer. The owners thought of everything in this home to make it a perfect stay for guests who visit. We hope to visit again! Thank you Norma for a lovely vacation experience!
5 girlfriends (50+) who have been friends for more than 30+ years arrived on a Thursday, and when Sunday came around, we didn't want to leave! The place is lovely.
Thank you, Norma, Ron, your sons, and staff. You all were wonderful to work with, and
we will be back!
My husband and I stayed at this condo for his birthday week (and to escape the Arizona summer heat). We could not have been more pleased. The pictures do not do it justice. Decorative touches are delightful. Clearly this home is well looked after. Although there were only two of us, the condo easily could fit a family or two couples without feeling crowded. As we both love to cook, we were thrilled with all the cookware and appliances which were provided. Most evenings we did cook at home rather than venturing out to restaurants at high season. We spent a lot of time on the master bedroom balcony and patios enjoying the views and relaxing. Oceano is a nice jumping off spot for day trips and walks on the beach, without the downtown Pismo crowds. Our favorite part of the week was Monday-Thursday when the traffic and noise going to and from the beach and dunes was significantly less. Saturday/Sundays are quite crowded and noisy - however, as we chose to travel during July, the busiest month on the central coast, we rolled with it. We definitely would return, at a slower time of year. Thanks to you both for opening up your home!
We were at this place with family for couple of nights it was a pleasent experience. It was definately one of the best places i ever stayed.
- this is right on the beach.
- place is very nicely maintained and very comfortable.
- sand dunes recreational area is just couple of miles.
- even downtown area is not that far.
- you can camp fire just outside the house on beach.
Finally i think its worth every penny , you won't regret staying here believe me.
We stayed 4 nights over the memorial weekend. The condo is clean for the most part. The downstairs bathroom has no ventilation ( fan out of order) which makes it semi unusable. The condo is located right at the entrance of all the trucks and RV's. It is impossible to lounge on the beach or relax on the sand, as the steady stream of cars use the sand as a two way highway. This goes on all day and all night.
Our car was broken into over night at the condo, parked in the underground parking structure. The parking is gated, however the gate is ver easy to jump for motivated thieves. They damaged our window and stole everything they could out of the car. The owner has no renters insurance and did not care at all after hearing our story.
I don't recommend staying here, unless you want to be a victim of theft. Spend a little more and stay at a better neighborhood.
