House was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Owner responded to any inquiries almost immediately. He was very accommodating and even offered an unsolicited late check out which was awesome at the end of the holiday weekend. Reccomended highly!

The house was very clean and it had everything we needed to make our trip to the Big Island fantastic! Mark is incredibly responsive and he went above and beyond in helping us after we got rained out of our backpacking trip a day early. I would highly recommend and would stay at this house again should the opportunity arise.

Lovely home in quiet neighborhood -- Good views and about a 15 minute walk to waterfront.
This was our second visit to this home. The house is very well appointed and comfortable. Kitchen is particularly well furnished relative to almost every other rental we've ever encountered. Grill on covered lanai and eat out on the pool lanai under the stars. Spectacular!!
The pool is small, but well maintained and nice for a cooling dip in the afternoon. The house is in a quiet gated neighborhood, only five minutes by car to downtown Kona, or a short 15 minute walk downhill to the waterfront. Safeway and Walmart are nearby, while KTA and Island Naturals are about five minutes away. Beaches in Kona are small but quite nice.
This home is very close to the Queen K Hwy (about 1/2 mile S of the Hwy 11/Hwy 19 interchange). Access for bicycle riding, running and swimming (ocean or local lap pool) is great. Owner deals with mechanical or utility issues very quickly (hey, they happen; so how the owner responds is important).
We'll be back next year.
Clean and Convenient
Great stay! Close to Kona restaurants, stores and great beaches. House is clean, comfortable and well stocked with supplies. Owner has incredibly fast response time both with booking and any issues that might come up. I wouldn't hesitate on renting again. Wish I was there now...

Additional information about rental rates
Maximum occupancy 6 people. Rate is for four (4) people. Additional persons up to two (2), are $15- $25 per night each depending on the season. Free cancellation within 24 hours of any booking confirmation less a $150 administration fee. 50% of total rental cost is due at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to check in. If your reservation is cancelled outside of 60 days of arrival date, your deposit is refunded less a $150 administration fee. 100% of rental cost is charged if cancelled within 60 days of arrival date. If cancelled within 60 days, 100% of your deposit less a $250 administrative fee will be refunded if we can book the property on all of the days you cancel. In the event of a cancellation, the cleaning fee will be refunded. If extraordinary cleaning is required upon your departure, that cost will be charged to your credit card on file. If evidence of smoking is found, $500 will be charged. Please note: Taxes collected are as follows: 9.25% State of Hawaii Transient Accommodation Tax and .5% State of Hawaii Department of Taxation. No garage access.
