The condo is in a great location: just off the Park City golf course, across the street from the free PC bus stop, and within walking distance of Main Street restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the privacy and views from the back deck. We found the kitchen to be well stocked, the beds comfortable and the bath towels good quality. The portable A/C units in the second and third floor bedrooms were helpful in cooling those spaces at night after warm days. The newer washer/dryer units in the first floor bathroom worked well. The management company was responsive to our inquiries. On the negative side, the kitchen and two of the bathrooms need to be updated, the first floor baseboards need to be repaired/replaced, and the outside doors need to be reframed/replaced. In conclusion, although this condo has a lot going for it, it needs repairs and updates in a number of key areas.
Great property for families.
Excellent location. Very easy check in and check out. Had small problem with one bathroom but it was handled in a timely fashion. Communication was excellent.
Great location for skiing
Very nice rental. Clean and spacious. Love the entry for storing skis and boots. Plenty of room for my 4 kids.
Great time at Park City
The property is in excellent condition. Great for a group of 8. Location is excellent. Minutes from the lifts. You can take the bus, but a car works really well (free parking at the property and at all the ski locations). We had a small issue with the water heater that was immediately taken care of (at 6 AM). We had a great time. We look forward to come back.
Wonderful, peaceful stay at Payday
We stayed for a week and I'm already missing the serene views form the living room over the golf course and surrounding mountains at sunrise and sunset. The location is great, it is quiet and yet so close to everything. The manager is extremely prompt in responding to questions and offering information about the stay. The welcome email was extremely detailed and answered all questions before I even realized I had them!
We just spent a week at Payday 201. Wonderful location as Silver Star is right across the street and so makes this almost ski in ski out. We rented our skis from Silver Star ski and sport and makes it so easy as you can leave your skis there overnight.
Kitchen is small but well equipped. We cooked 5 out of 6 nights and had everything we needed. Great knives, pans, etc. plenty of dish washer det., trash bags, paper towels etc. Cabinets, countertops, oven, dishwasher are dated and need replacing but didn't stop us from cooking delicious meals! The sprayer at the kitchen sink is leaking and needs to be replaced. It shoots a random stream out the side of the handle every time the water is turned on.
Laundry room/ bathroom is right off the master and has been renovated and is SUPER nice. I could have slept in there. Ha ha. Great shower and beautiful floors. Top notch washer and drier.
The sunken living room (right off the kitchen ) is a great place to watch TV or play games but it is FREEZING. It's ashame it is so cold bc besides the dinner table this is the only other place to gather as a family. We had a large space heater going non stop but it doesn't make a dent. The draft from the door is a bit much. We put pillows on the floor to stop the draft...a piece of snow from my kids boots was on the carpet by the door and literally did not melt all night. The door from the kitchen has the same problem. We again used pillows and a towel to stop the draft.
The master bedroom is downstairs is a good size with a flat screen TV. the master ensuite bathroom is tiny and tired.
Elevation Lodges is the property mgmt company and they were AWESOME and attentive. Our first night they brought us fresh sheets as the guests before us must have had a dog and there was hair everywhere. but they took care of it and also delivered brand new comforters and duvets the very next day. Along with some wine/ treats for our troubles.
Payday is a little gem as it is a wonderful location. I would definitely consider staying in 201 again if the rest of the condo had a little TLC like the nice renovated bathroom downstairs:-)
