I grew up in a northwest suburb of Chicago and moved to Nashville in April of 2008 because I fell in love with the city the first time I came to visit. My wife grew up in Knoxville and moved to Nashville just after I did! We met while running the "I Run for the Party" 10k on St. Patrick's Day in 2013. We love to travel and meet new people, and we are also proud of our city, so we decided to build a tiny house and invite guests to stay with us. We have plenty of suggestions of things to do while you stay, if you need them. We love running, triathlons, drinking beer, attending concerts and finding genuinely good, local food. We can't wait to meet you!
Brianna purchased this House in 2015
Why Brianna chose North Nashville
We love the area! We do have a lot of foot traffic in our transitioning neighborhood but our neighbors are very friendly and we are close to downtown! We have a corner lot with a mostly private fence. Our area of Nashville is the fastest growing area of the city.
What makes this House unique
We turned the back of a truck into a tiny house with the intention of giving new friends a place to stay when they visit Nashville. We love meeting new people and giving them a little piece of home in our backyard when they visit.

Really cute tiny house, close to lots of cool places! Would definitely stay there again :)
We enjoyed our stay in Nashville and will definitely be returning to the tiny house again! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!
Great Tiny House!
Driving through the neighborhood, on the way to our tiny house, had my sister and I concerned and wondering what we had gotten ourselves into. The area is a little "rough" and we passed multiple people leaning into vehicles (not trying to deduce what was going on, but we had our own thoughts) and loitering. Once we got to the house we met the friend of the owner with ease and she passed the keys on to us and explained everything about the house. We also met the very sweet neighbor who told us he would "keep an eye on our car for us." That put us at ease a bit. The tiny house is so cute and you feel very comfortable. They include many amenities and we enjoyed the coffee in the morning and playing around with the guitar. They have Netflix as well, but we were all about the city, so we only used it to help us fall asleep. You feel safe in the home with the lock and the security system. The Uber/Lyft rides downtown during non-peak hours were less than $10 and less than $20 during peak hours, we never had a problem getting a ride and the ride time varied from maybe 10 minutes to 40 based on traffic. We had 1 episode where we could not find our key to the apartment and were unable to get ahold of anyone to help us or let us in, but we were thankfully able to find the key and let ourselves in (granted it was quite late/early depending on how you look at it, I guess a risk you take not staying in a hotel with 24hr service). I would probably stay here again because of price and because the house is so nice. If you are more about convenience and a pretty neighborhood, then I would spend a bit more and find a place closer to the city. Overall a positive experience and we thank Brianna for sharing her space with us and being so nice to work with!
