Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We loved staying at this house. It was very clean with great beds, towels and linens. The location is just a few minutes from Tahoe City where there are lots of restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet and the master bedroom has lovely views of the mountains and trees.
We came with my husband, 5 children, my brother, his daughter and girlfriend and my parents (12 people total, plus a black lab). There was plenty of room for everyone and we all were very comfortable.
There was a problem with the refrigerator. It had a hard time keeping the food cold, but Vacasa was great. They came out to inspect it and took care of the problem. Also, there was no propane for the grill which was a bummer.
We would definitely stay here again.
We had 2 families staying at the property. Everything was great. House was clean, kitchen had spices and coffee waiting for us. Plenty of room for everyone. Our dog especially loved the deck.
The place had a lot of space. The deck and the view were awesome. We were lucky enough to get great weather. We grilled on the deck ate meals out there. A great place for families and small dogs.
Bring fans if your staying in the summer. Pack your own soap. Be aware it IS PET FRIENDLY. The carpets show it. The home, beds and furnishings are comfortable. Wifi works great. It could have been a perfect vacation if management were available to provide assistance.
Although required, this house has no bear bins and no trash service. So, you have to stack trash on the raised deck that begins to smell after a while and prevents happy hour on the deck. If that isn't a deal breaker, then read on. This house is FABULOUS! The kitchen and dining area on the main floor is fantastic. The BBQ is propane and works great. The huge TV-play room one floor up allows space from or with the kids. The house is split level with 4 floors. Lower floor bedrooms and bathroom allow privacy for a separate family. The top floor is a master suite to die for. The views are gorgeous and the neighborhood is high end and serene. So, here are the ... inconveniences. No patio furniture on the incredible deck. There are 3 umbrella stands so bring your umbrella and a folding table or set your beach chairs out and enjoy a great happy hour. TV in master doesn't work but the one in the play room does. If you have an Echo from Amazon, it adds to the ambience. Kitchen is nicely stocked but only 2 wine glasses so bring some and leave them there for others. The door racks on the fridge are broken and you have to be sure to shut the fridge doors tightly or your food won't get cold. We will definitely stay again. We were there from 7/17 to 7/29/2016. ENJOY!
I called VACASA with in an hour of arriving to let them know this house was not as advertised, Dirty dog stained carpets, Fleas, Big carpenter Ants, broken Fridge, no cable, Broken down BBQ, etc. The did nothing to remedy the problems and then at end of stay offered me $50. We left 2 days earlier and stayed in a hotel.
