Why Amy Maki chose Deer Park
I have always loved the mountains and have rented other peoples' property in Sunriver for years. Now my family is thrilled to have our own place!

We stayed during our daughters wedding. I had to do cupcakes and wedding cakes. The kitchen was great with plenty of room for everything. All our family was comfortable and had plenty of space. We enjoyed the bikes and got some great videos on the tandem :) nice and quiet area but still close to anything you might need. Would love to stay here again if we're in the area!
Clean and kid friendly, with some down sides
The house was in a fine location (not relatively close to the village though). It was clean and had everything needed for the house. Maybe I'm a snob, and I didn't do a lot of research before booking....the pet friendly status was essential for us. No SHARC passes was a real bummer. We paid $125 to get our family into the water park for one day. The house is not well lit, and the decor is very dated using economical materials (with the exception of the kitchen). The biggest bummer was that there was no A/C in the house. It got SO hot in there and nighttime was super uncomfortable no matter what we tried.
Thank you for letting us stay at your house. We had a cozy stay with everything we needed.
House is OK, very clean but not very well kept up. No SHARC passes either.
At $25 a day per person (even kids!) it cost our family $100 a day just to go to the pool! All our friends houses came with SHARC passes, a definite negitive to this house. The property also isnt very well kept, deck could probably need a refinish, weeds, little broken things around the outside of the house like the solar lights and screen door. Very clean though.
Now one of our favorite houses!
We’ve been to Sunriver 6 times now and this house is one of our favorites so far. Tons of room, quiet neighborhood and house was clean. My only criticism would be that the carpets need to be steam cleaned and had lots of spots. We had a great time and did not want to leave.
Great location, flexible set-up, nicely appointed!
This was our second stay and we really enjoyed it. Though we had a small group the house would easily work for a larger crew, with dogs. It’s had to find a property that’s flexible with housing dogs, so this was a nice bonus. The rooms are nicely furnished and the kitchen has enough of the basics to cook meals for your co-guests. The location is great. It’s very close to the trail network and a short walk to Fort Rock Park. The village and the SHARC are a quick bike ride.
It’s nice to for everything to be easily accessible but to not be in the super busy part of the resort.
The next time we’re planning a trip to the Sunriver area, we’ll be booking here again!
