Home in Harlem
This beautiful brownstone mansion is a quiet Manhattan oasis, across from a family park and around the corner from Fifth Avenue. We were surrounded by history and charm! There are great restaurants close by on Lenox and the subway station is an easy stroll down a few blocks.
Thanks to our hosts for providing us with gourmet coffee choices, fresh biscotti, cake, cookies , eggs, fruit , bananas, chips, and even a glass of evening port!
We can't wait to stay here again.

At Home Away From Home
This property has everything one needs to feel like one has an uplifting, beautifully-appointed, comfortable, quiet home to come back to after each adventurous day in a busy, frenetically-paced city.
The owner provides a kitchen with home-baked bread, cakes and cookies, besides fresh fruit and other breakfast items. A dining room adjoins the kitchen.
The property is well located so that public transportation is convenient. A variety of restaurants are within a very short walking distance. The owner could not have been more helpful and available. Thank you for a lovely vacation! I will be back.
This house is a great stay for a short vacation in NYC. Quiet neighborhood and the house is amazing. Our host was super friendly and we had all the amenities. So glad to be able to make our own coffee in the morning. This is a GREAT find.

Tastefully decorated brownstone that allowed me to feel like a New Yorker
Dimitri was a fantastic concierge, host and baker. The fresh made bread, cookies and medium hard boiled eggs got us off to a great start each day. My 60 year old Mom struggled a little with all of the stairs but she couldn’t stop raving about the hospitality and charm of the home. Our stay was peaceful and educational. Thank you Dimitri and Vasili! I cannot wait to stay with you for my next visit to the Big Apple 🍎
Quiet and gracious with everything you need
We loved our stay in this gracious home. In a stately brown-stone with many of the original details but with all the modern amenities on a quiet street but close to the subway, vibrant Lenox/Malcolm X street and northern Central Park, it was a tranquil place to return to after full, stimulating days exploring NYC.
