Beautiful Direct Ocean Front Condo
Xanadu D1, built in 1983, is located on the very popular Crescent Beach in North Myrtle Beach. Very convenient to main street North Myrtle Beach! It has two bedrooms and two baths with the master having a King size bed and the second bedroom offering two twins beds. A queen sleeper sofa is also available. The condo has free Wi Fi, its own washer and dryer, flat screen tv's and more! New granite counters in the kitchen and new wood laminate floors in the bedrooms in May 2016!

Great location...unit needs upgrades.
We stayed for 5 days. Weather not very cooperative but the ocean front location was wonderful. The property could use appliance upgrades and the master bath needs significant remodel, but is still functional. The owners cleaning service was subpar, especially in the master bath area. The louvered entry door needs replacing as is severely worn and does not close properly.
North Myrtle Beach was a disappointment, as was very commercial, overdeveloped. We were hoping to be away from the crowd. We did enjoy the Huntington Beach state park, and had a wonderful dining experience at "Drunken Jack's" in Murrell's Inlet, a short day trip from this location.
To be away from the crowd it would be worthwhile exploring the Ocean Isle Beach to Caswell Beach areas.

As for upgrades, this unit recently got new granite in the kitchen, newly painted through out in fall 2017, new LR and second bedroom furniture in spring 2018 and new balcony furniture in spring 2018.
The building was built in the mid 80's but we keep our condo very current. Pictures are current, taken Nov 2017.
Finally the condo did just receive a deep clean in April for the beginning of the new rental season.

It was our first visit to N. Myrtle Beach. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised.
The unit was clean and well appointed. The management took care of any minor problems that came up “immediately” .
We totally enjoyed our 8 weeks here.
Good value for a nice condo
Good value for a nice condo. The condo is clean and nicely furnished. We had problems with the pool as the pump went out but Scott responded promptly and the pool was fixed within a day. My only complaint that the condominium was not ready for the 3 o'clock check-in.
We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and we do apologize for the condo being ready a few minuets late. Saturdays are a very hectic day for the cleaning crews and they do their very best to have them all ready on time. Thankfully they are ready by 3pm 99%of the time!
Great Location, Responsive Owner
My family and I had a great time staying at this location. The owner, Scott, provided courtesy updates regarding weather (a hurricane was threatening) and offered additional parking options in the event of flooding. Very much appreciated, thank you!
Not the best choice
Condo unit needs some work done- dated and needs repairs done
There were ants in the room
Air conditioner didn't really keep the place cool enough
The unit didn't provide linens so we ordered from a service company and the quality of the sheets and towels was terrible
Thanks for your feedback. The Xanadu building has had some minor problems this summer with ants especially, under the building. I have personally paid for a special pest control treatment in July even though its part of our Homeowners fees and duty. Additionally, I have communicated this to the HOA and they had a follow up visit to the building as well. I am told the issue has been resolved. As for the AC, in my many years of having the unit we have not gotten any negative feedback regarding the AC but we will certainly inspect it ASAP to see if there is an opportunity. With any concern during our guest stay, we encourage them to let us know during the visit so it can be resolved. Things do happen in a vacation rental, just like they do at home. When they do, we do take great pride in resolving issues quickly. Lastly, linens are a third party service. They are not provided by me nor are they part of my contract. I simply give the guest a resource if its needed and the guest contracts direct with the service so it is disappointing to get negative feedback about something that is beyond our control. While this condo is not our top tier or priced unit that we offer, we do believe it is a nice clean condo with nice accommodations at a great value.
This condo was more then what I expected, very clean with an ideal location. Really loved the keyless entry. The view from the balcony was outstanding. Can't wait to go back.

Additional information about rental rates
Rates are subject to change until confirmed with a reservation. Visa, MasterCard or Discover is the preferred method of payment. To do this, please use the “Book Now” option. Linens are not included in the rental price. They can be leased directly from our cleaners for $25 per bed per week. This would include sheets and bath towels. Winter Monthly Rates - we do not rent March by itself, as a monthly winter rate, unless it is part of a multi-month rentals. Renter must be at least 25 years of age and on site during rental period. NO exceptions!
