Lovely home!

  • 5 of 5

Lake TaHome was a lovely getaway and hit all of our group's numerous demands. Tom was communicative and easy to deal with. The bedding and carpets were clean and the kitchen was fully stocked for people who like to cook. There was also a lovely snowy hill in the quiet neighborhood to explore and sled. If we come back to Tahoe, it will definitely be here.

A "home away" from home!!

  • 5 of 5

This home was ideal for us for so many reasons. 1) It is very close to King's Beach and Incline Village; 2) It's in close proximity to NorthStar, Alpine and Squaw Resorts; 3) it has a working hot tub; 4) the home is super clean, tastefully decorated, and rooms ideal for size (3 adult men and 3 adult women); and finally 5) the kitchen is super equipped with supplies for cooking. We made ourselves at home fast! We were fortunate enough to have beautiful spring-like conditions, and was able to snowshoe past the housing area to an overlook of the most amazing view of Lake Tahoe. If you're going to North Tahoe, you can't find a better home to stay in than this one. The host provided ample information and was transparent in all considerations with through explanations making it painlessly easy to access the home for the first time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and will undoubtedly book here again.

Had a great stay!

  • 5 of 5

A great place for my family to stay for the week. Nice spacious living area upstairs where people can talk between dining area, living room, and kitchen. We cooked almost every meal at the house. 15 min to Northstar, less than 30 min to Diamond Peak (in snow/traffic). Close to Kings Beach as well.

There was A LOT of snow the week we went up. Snow banks were 10-15 ft high. This made the road coming in to where the property is difficult to navigate because plows only made it wide enough for 1 car on most of the road. The plow also blocked us out of the driveway one night.

Owner was very quick to respond via text to any issues we had.

Cozy, confortable, very clean, and prepared to receive guests.

  • 5 of 5

We are already looking forward to going back to this house, this is how much we liked. The hoster clearly set the house to welcome you, give you space, and a good experience. The kitchen was extremely completed, and the bathroom has a great shower power. The garage fits two cars and have all equipment to shove snow - which was vital to our survival during a storm weekend.

Second stay

  • 5 of 5

This was our second year renting this house. Perfect for us and our friends and their family. 4 adults, 2 kids, and this year 2 dogs. The owners are very thoughtful with labeling switches, etc. Good quality housewares and the house is very thoughtfully furnished. We were there right after the big snow storm. Their handyman did a good job of clearing the driveway and spa for us but the front door and decks were under probably over 5 feet of snow. This was the most snow we have seen in 10 years of coming up to Tahoe. If you don't have AWD or 4 WD, getting to the house can be challenging. On Friday, when we were coming in, we saw multiple cars stuck on Regency as well as Kings Way. Not a problem for us. We will definitely be back.

Owner's Response: We are so glad you returned and enjoyed Lake TaHome... again! And it seems that you had enough--or maybe more than enough--snow! Please keep us in mind year-round. We love Tahoe all times of the year, as each has its own special qualities, activities and experiences.
