We loved everything about this house -- from the location to the decor... it was a perfect retreat.
The patio, pool and hot tub were a great way to end our days exploring LA. The house is centrally located and provides a fabulous retreat from the fast-pace of the city. Couldn't have enjoyed it more.
Yes, the parking situation is precarious, the a/c was not working for several days (so 85 degrees inside the home), and there are ants. Nonetheless, the house is lovely, the owners are responsive and reasonable (they said they would give a small credit for the lack a/c - though I have not seen it yet), and the location is a great base for exploring the city. We would happily return!
Great location and very nice backyard pool and area to eat
It was great.
Beautiful property, amazing trip
We had an incredible trip and absolutely loved this property. Since we were a party of 4 adults and 3 children including a 2 month old baby, this house could not have been more perfect. The size and room sizes were great. The backyard is a true oasis. Beds were super comfortable with soft linens and plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The house was well stocked with essentials including soap and laundry detergent, and a Gelsons market right down the street. We took advantage of the close proximity to Griffith Park and took a morning hike, and every night was quiet and peaceful in the hills. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!
Nice house but several things were not working
The pool heating and fireplace were not working during our entire 4 night stay, and when we asked for it to be serviced, management told us the pool heater was turned on. We kept messaging them to let them know that the temperature was not rising, but we got no further response from management. We intentionally paid more to stay at a nicer property and booked this home to use the pool at least once during our stay, but was unable to. It would have been courteous of the property manager to at least respond back to us, be upfront and honest about the situation, and apologize. We left the house and our vacation having felt ripped off and ignored.
But not all was bad..the home itself was very beautiful, clean, and in an amazing location. The garage was definitely very low and small, but it was still possible to park a Tesla model X.
Pretty but glitchy!
The house was pretty and more or less adequate. Unfortunately, there were a number of things that didn’t function very well, including the tablet that controls the pool, spa and pool lighting. Also, the kitchen wasn’t fitted very well (goodwill style cookware) so we didn’t feel much like cooking.
Very close to everything Franklin Village has to offer. Very close to a great Park. Plus, you are in the Hollywood Hills!
