The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a building that was the target of Austrian cannon fire from the Lake in May 1859 during Italy’s War of Unification. A cannon ball from that event hangs from the building’s facade.
Climbing the wide stone stairs takes you to an inner courtyard typical of local Italian architecture where residents used to hang washing, do their daily chores and enjoy a little town gossip. One is led back in time to the life of a simple fishing village and can for a few days experience what it is like to live in a lively Italian community on the shores of this beautiful lake.
This apartment has a view of Canobbio’s rooftops and the charming old town.
It accommodates 4 people.
It offers the following:
Large living room, dining table/chairs and fully-stocked kitchenette (includes fridge and dishwasher)
One large bedroom with double bed
One small bedroom with two separate single beds

This apartment can be rented with the apartment next door to accommodate 8 people in total, see VRBO #690121
