Cherie purchased this House in 2001
What makes this House unique
Broadway House is a sweet little home, originally built for a family in 1928. We have had a wonderful time fixing it up and making it cozy so travelers and families can stay in comfort. We've done our best to keep the updates 'natural, clean and green' - and have kept the old wherever possible. It's location on the North edge of downtown makes it convenient to nearly everywhere. The prettiest part of downtown Spokane - shopping, museums, Riverfront Park, the Falls, great dining and entertainment - is a beautiful walk East along Centennial Trail. If you head West instead, you can hike or bike along the river to and through Riverside State Park. Access to I-90 is just across the Maple Street Bridge. Gonzaga University is directly East. Whitworth University is North. Three of the best hospitals in the Inland Northwest are within 5 miles. Finch Arboretum and Manito Park are beautiful places to stroll, play, photograph. Indian Canyon Golf Course and Downriver Golf Course are both about 3 miles from the house. Spokane is the jumping off point for one of the most breath taking zip line tours anywhere - and all kinds of other adventures. It's less than 30 miles to great skiing and epic mountain biking. It's just a mile or two to concert and theater venues like Spokane Arena, Fox Theater, the Knitting Factory. And there's more! Spokane is the biggest little city from Minneapolis to Seattle. Right in the middle of one of the most beautiful parts of the continent.

Best Host Ever
Cherie is highly responsive and provides top notch hospitality. The home is older and has been very well kept. Everything was as described and Cherie went above and beyond what any other host would do — providing coffee, tea, and light fruit/breakfast items exactly to your liking. Thank you, Cherie!
Thank you, Kristi! It was an absolute pleasure -)
Comfortable and accommodating
This house is charming, comfortable, and wad just right for our family of 4. Cherie goes above and beyond to make sure that her guests have everything they need and so much more! We had snacks, coffee and cocoa, breakfast items and more fruit than we could eat in 2 days. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or hostess!
Cherie was fabulous and the house was adorable. Everything we needed for our weekend!
Cute & Clean
Cherie has a great little getaway house. Super clean with a well stocked kitchen for cooking and a cute little backyard or front porch for relaxing after a long day. The location is central for all you might want to get to in Spokane. Cherie was quick to respond to any communication or questions we had. We will certainly look for this house first when we visit again.
Gem of a place!
Cherie's property was beautiful and well kept. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. She provided milk, juice, english muffins, fruit, and muffins for our stay (as well as tea & coffee).
The neighbourhood that the home is located in is a bit on the rough side, but we did not have any troubles and felt the house was secure. That being said, the home is situated well within Spokane, close to shopping and downtown.
My only feedback would be that the AC is set to 70F, which we found to be a bit too cold (and that's coming from Canadians!). We were out & about most of the time so did not bother to contact Cherie about adjusting it.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the house met our needs perfectly.
This house was perfect for our visit to Spokane, a short drive to the Convention Center. The owner is very welcoming and hospitable and provides even the little things that you may need when traveling. Our family enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house as an option for your stay in Spokane.
