This duplex, located at 310 Coronado St.,Balboa, CA 92661, is a charming 2 bedroom,1 bath home which sleeps 2 -6 people. The rental is located on the ground level and has a front patio for sitting, sunning and dining outside. The home is well-maintained and clean. The cottage is located a half block to the bay and 2 short blocks to the Pacific Ocean.
It is but a brief walk to the downtown of Balboa Peninsula, where stores, restaurants, arcade,ferris wheel and more can be discovered. A few blocks away is a public library,a coffee bar, and a small grocery store. The area is extremely children friendly. This is truly a special vacation rental with a special atmosphere.
This cute little beach house exceeded our expectations in every way! We found it a tremendous value considering the location and amenities. My husband and I grew up in Orange County and were looking for a place we could have family and friends over while we were on vacation with our two sons. The living room had plenty of comfy seating, the kitchen well equipped, and the patio was perfect for laughter and grilling. The house was clean and the beds comfy. Having a garage to park in eliminated the stress of finding street parking (it is a hunt!) and we came and went as we pleased. We used the beach chairs and boogie boards provided; the beach is just a short walk across Balboa Blvd. The Balboa Fun Zone is nearby as well, close enough to walk to but far enough you don't get noise and foot traffic in front of the home. We loved waking over there for a sweet treat, ferris wheel ride, and arcade games! Margaret, the owner, was very pleasant and helpful. I added this property to my VRBO favorites, and look forward to staying there again!
Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Whale Watching, Fun Zone, Catalina Island, Boat Rentals, Balboa Ferry, Balboa Island, Shopping at South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island.
