This recently remodeled Bozeman cottage, originally built in 1910, is designed to be cozy enough for one but spacious and comfortable enough for the entire family. Read a book, surf the web, prepare your business presentation or simply relax and visit in main floor living room. This room boasts refinished white oak hardwood floors, American Clay walls, a large east facing picture window with a top down/bottom up cellular shade that allows for morning light while offering privacy, a Vermont Castings gas stove, a sitting area with locally made wood furniture, a comfy sofa, a reading chair, and a dining table that has the option to include a leaf to seat six.
The well stocked kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a gas range, and has a counter height dining table that has the potential to seat six. A large south facing window offers ample light and a view of the private spacious back yard that can be easily accessed from the kitchen. The backyard is a great place to host a barbeque, play a family soccer or Scrabble game, hang laundry on the clothesline or bask in the afternoon sun. If you are looking for shade, the large maple trees lining South 5th Street keep the front yard porch pleasant all day.
The front queen bedroom has American Clay walls and two windows, allowing morning and afternoon light. The second bedroom has a locally made wood headboard and a south facing window that provides great morning and afternoon light. Both rooms have quality brand new queen sized Simmons Beautyrest mattresses and Dr. Maas pillows. The upstairs bathroom has just been updated with a new Sterling Ensemble tub and surround!
Do you need extra space or just want to find some personal space? Sneak downstairs to rock the baby, bathe the children, or to watch your favorite Netflix program using the Apple TV. The daylight basement, added in 2015, has white oak hardwood floors and is heated by radiant floor heating. This private, naturally lit space includes two bedrooms with large egress windows surrounded by custom stone window wells, a full bathroom with a brand new oversized Sterling Ensemble bathtub and surround, a living room that also includes large egress windows surrounded by stonework, and a laundry room. The living room is furnished with a new couch and oversized chair, and a glider rocking chair. This space also offers a play area for children and is great spot for older children to congregate. The queen bedroom has a brand new Serta mattress, Dr. Maas pillows, a spacious closet and locally made bedside tables with reading lamps. The second bedroom has twin beds, also with new mattresses and pillows.
