About the property

House, 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 16

This idyllic riverfront home is the absolute perfect spot for your family reunion or business retreat. Four bedrooms give room for up to 16 guests, and you can even bring the dogs!

Play in the Wenatchee River, which runs right through the large yard, and take a soak in the private hot tub. You'll have more than enough space for parking, picnics, playing outdoor games, and having fire-side chats in the backyard. Plain is a few miles north, and Leavenworth is 30 miles south.

The living room is spacious and open with large windows and tall ceilings, perfect for catching up with family members, gathering around the warm fireplace, and playing board games. Located just behind the living room is the full kitchen, which boasts everything you'll need for delicious meals (major appliances, a microwave, dishwasher, Keurig, and more) along with granite countertops, a stone accent wall, and a farmhouse sink.

There's seating for delicious meals at either the kitchen island bar or the dining room table for 12.

Two bedrooms, both with queen-size beds, are located downstairs, along with a full bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms (one with a king-size bed and the other with three sets of twin bunk beds and a twin-over-full bunk bed) and two bathrooms are set upstairs.

The upstairs loft is great for a movie night, game night, and a place to let the kids play while the adults have some quiet time downstairs. A Blu-ray DVD and VCR player are connected to the flatscreen TV, as are a Wii and cable for keeping things amusing even during downtime.

More great amenities here include a washer and dryer, WiFi, and the ability to bring your dogs along with an associated nightly pet fee.

Did you forget some items or need to grab some last-minute ingredients for dinner? Plain has a grocery and hardware store for your convenience and is three miles away. Take a day or more to drive down to Leavenworth for horseback riding, tubing down the Wenatchee River, golfing, and endless shopping and brewery hopping in the adorable Bavarian town. During winter, Steven's Pass has some of the best Washington skiing and snowboarding and is located 30 miles away.

Count the whole family in for this unforgettable rural retreat.

About Vacasa of the North Central Cascades

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great house and location

 • 4 of 5

Right on the Wenatchee River where it’s shallow enough that the kids could play without too much worry. Great house with two living spaces so the adults and kids could have their own spaces. Perfect bbq outside and lots of land to play outdoor games like croquet, bocce, etc.

The River IS AMAZING!

 • 4 of 5

The house is a great house for a large group. We had 16 guests...and we all really enjoyed our stay. The river is definitely the best part of this property. There is a super fun spot to play and hang out by/in the river. Our second favorite part is looking at the stars...I have never seen so many stars! Like other reviewers have commented, the room downstairs makes a really annoying thumping sound through the night. It felt bad for my friend who had that room because she didn't sleep so great. I'd give it 5 stars if it were for the thumping. Thanks for the great experience! We had an amazing time!

Owner's Response: Unfortunately, the pump noise is part of the well and irrigation system. The owner is aware of the issue and is unable to effect a repair at this time. We apologize for any annoyance this causes our guests.

NICE FAMILY VACATION HOME

 • 4 of 5

Beautiful location on the Wenatchee river with low bank and a sandy beach. Lots of activities in the area. Plenty of room for kids to run around and play games outside. House had a nice open floor plan for everyone to gather and bunk room was a plus for the grandkids. Kitchen pots and pans could use some upgrades but otherwise pretty well equipped. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

July 2018

 • 5 of 5

The house is great--big, spacious, nice location on the river. Needs some maintenance, though--leaky kitchen sink, broken chairs, noisy machinery of some kind that kicks on at night and woke people up in the ground floor bedrooms. But it's a great place to stay once they get a few things fixed. We brought our dog, and she totally loved it.

Room to roam

 • 4 of 5

The house felt spacious even though there were 16 of us, so that was great! Everyone loved the large yard and the fact that it backed right up to the river. We all enjoyed our stay.

Furniture in the Living areas needs to be replaced

 • 3 of 5

Beautiful setting and layout of the house. Furniture in living areas and rug need to be replaced. Whatever the noise is in the garage needs to get fixed!!! Hard to get a good nights sleep!!! Homeowner knows about this issue yet doesn’t get it fixed. Housekeeper did not do a good job cleaning house. Trash cans were almost full when we arrived so didn’t have room for our trash and instructions in trash didn’t tell us to roll trash to River Rd!! Neighbor did that for us!!! Pots and pans need to be replaced lots of rust and Teflon coming off. Dishwasher needs to get fixed as we could only wash on the quick wash. Sliding doors need to be

fixed and there are no screens so we could leave them open to enjoy weather. Hot tub was great!! One of outdoor chairs is broken. Front door could not open from outside and could only turn handle to right to open from inside. Outdoor bench was not secured to concrete and was very wobbly therefore, could not sit on it. Need more outdoor furniture. House sleeps 16 but only enough outside furniture for 6. If homeowner wants to compete with rental market in the area then they must update furniture and kitchenware. I hate leaving negative reviews but was disappointed for money spent. It IS a beautiful setting but much more building in neighborhood than pictures or google earth indicated. Would rent again if things fixed as it is a beautiful setting and beautiful to look out those big windows.

Owner's Response: We are glad to see this guest enjoyed the setting and 'bones' of the house. Trash pick up is at the home so there is no need to take to River Road. The owner has replaced the rug and some furniture; insulation has been added to water pump in garage; the dishwasher has been replaced; the door handle has been repaired; bench, outdoor seating and pans have been addressed with owner. The sliding doors are in the words for fall 2018. Thank you!
