Worked well for us, but... I'm being analy critical. We had a great time.
We were pleasantly surprised at the proximity to the Park City main lift area. Other than walking up a relatively steep hill we were a five-minute walk away. I did it with no problem in ski boots. We rented equipment from Aloha Sports (cheapest rental company) and they allowed me to store my skis there overnight. No rental car due to the proximity to Fresh Market, drug store, and the local free buses. The elevator got screwey when trying to get to the garage floor from 3. The interior of the unit was reasonably well stocked and clean, although there were some minor issues. The dryer's interior was not usable until recleaned, and an obvious chocolate couch stain Some blind slats were broken. The contract requires the renter to identify deficiencies upon arrival. The last thing I want to do while getting settled is identify already known broken items. The management company should present a known list so we don't have to guess if we found everything, or be charged for them. I will say the management company was great, very helpful and super friendly. They responded nicely to our every issue. They could have avoided all of them. When we identified the teflon was flaking off into the food they provided a completely new set of cookware. Great job! The downstairs bedroom has a nice comfortable king bed. The ceiling cuts off so you have to duck to get into the far side of the bed. Don't be fooled by the thermostat. It controls radiant heating which is not a normal HVAC system. We needed the space heaters running to keep the downstairs bedroom warm and we didn't figure that out until our last night. There could be more blankets. The living room is small but cozy. Fire logs provided. One loveseat couch isn't back against the wall due to the floor construction and protrudes making it a little weird. My main concern in the living room was the cable tv. There were almost no channels available for our 11-year-old, or to catch up on national news - mostly shopping channels. That changed a little but not enough. The upstairs bedroom requires climbing the tricky spiral stairs and has the ceiling issue. I slept there with open windows for excessive radiant heat. Two queen beds were very comfortable. Overall, nice rental, smaller than expected. Best part is the great location. Restaurants about .5-.8 miles away. $7 uber. Prospective buyers were viewing the unit so everything might change. Great for 2 couples/2 kids but tight.
