Completely refurnished and redecorated in and out. Great detail went into its design, color and finishing to maximize its size and take advantage of the fantastic views of the surrounding Santa Rosa Mountains. This walled, private estate home is a true paradise for relaxing, dining and entertaining. One-half mile to Old Town La Quinta and only 3 miles to the Polo Fields and Tennis Gardens. Surrounded by innumerable golf courses and is located one mile from SilverRock Resort and Golf Course that is open to the public. Indoor and outdoor spaces are large, open and comfortable. Plenty of room to play.

The spectacularly large kitchen is equipped with two sinks, a six burner Dacor range with griddle, a side by side refrigerator with ice maker and filtered water, Bosch dishwasher, Dacor microwave and all small appliances. Plenty of room for several cooks to combine their culinary skills into fabulous meals. Service for 16 including platters, bowls and serving pieces for every type of meal. Acrylic glassware and melamine plates for outdoor entertaining. A fully stocked spice cabinet is there for putting together a gourmet meal.

All bedrooms are furnished with dual control Sleep Number beds and high quality linens and towels. Pool towels are also provided. A full sized Queen raised air mattress is available with its own linens for that extra couple or kids to sleep on. A Pack ‘n Play crib with changing table and a high chair are at the house for the wee ones. The house is equipped with a water softener system and water filter for great tasting water. We are dog friendly too.

A separate heated/air-conditioned game and exercise room hosts an exercise bike, treadmill and elliptical trainer. A large puzzle/game table, leather sofa with chaise and recliner and an air hockey table is there for your enjoyment.

The over a quarter of an acre lot is completely landscaped with mature trees and shrubs. Lots of outdoor space for lounging and dining including a 15 x 30 pool with sun shelf and spa plus a 15 x 25 gazebo with fans and lights for outdoor enjoyment. A truly special place to unwind and enjoy the desert life for a few days or several weeks.

Beyond amazing!

Love this place! It's a beautiful home and beyond spacious. The hosts have everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The beds are all beyond comfy and the pool is so beautiful! Love this place and we defienitly plan on coming back this summer!

Owners were meticulous about all the details- they had everything we needed. The kitchen especially was well supplied.

The pool was perfect for our family to play in. We had a great stay. The owners were responsive as well.

Beautiful home...exceeded expectations!

My husband and I were looking for the perfect home to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with my parents and mother-in-love. We wanted a home that would provide everyone privacy when desired and a spacious area to congregate for family fun. This beautifully designed and well maintained home exceeded our expectations! The large kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare and serve our traditional Thanksgiving feast. The three bedrooms are nicely furnished with comfortable beds and linens and alll three bathrooms are gorgeous, which for me meant no worries about disparity between rooms/baths. The family room is furnished with plenty of comfortable seating and was conducive for family chats, watching movies together and playing games. Our favorite part of the home was the backyard. The landscaping is absolutely stunning. Although the outdoor temperatures were too cold for swimming, we would often sit outside enjoying the serene setting or alternatively, playing a rousing game of corn-hole! All in all, we were thoroughly delighted with this home. The property owner Deanna is a lovely person who made the entire process (booking, home instructions, deposit return, etc) quick and easy!

Wonderful property - a true home away from home

This is a wonderful property with owners who were truly a pleasure to deal with. The house is very nicely appointed - quality comfortable furniture, sleep number beds that were so comfortable, and a fantastic, huge kitchen that overlooks a great room and dining area. The house is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The back yard is extremely large and very comfortable. In full disclosure, the pool is a bit smaller in person than it appears in the photos. We noticed that when we walked in but any concerns evaporated quickly. We have three boys who spent a ton of time swimming and loved every minute of it and they had plenty of room to play in the water. Outdoors, there is a wonderful dining area that is covered and there are lights and ceiling fans. I think we ate almost every meal out there. But wait, there's more - a garage that has been converted into an air conditioned recreation / workout room. It's spacious, cool, and very comfortable. We could not have been happier with this property and in dealing with the Starrs (owners) - we plan to return to this property in the future.

Great location, fully stocked home, we will definitely return!

We booked this house for Coachella after our other home we had reserved doubled its price on us. The Starr's were fantastic to work with us and super responsive to emails and phone calls, not once did we feel scammed like we did with our other booking.

Once we arrived at the home we were welcomed to a clean and comfortable home, the kitchen was awesome, it had everything you could think of! Plasticware for the backyard/pool and nice glasses for more formal dining indoors. We didn't even use it since we practically ate out back every day! We were a group of 30-40 somethings looking for a retreat from the madness of Coachella and this was it. The pool/jacuzzi was lovely and private.

We can't wait to return in the future!
