Adorable 2 bedroom turn of century large duplex apartments with yard in the Green Lake / Greenwood Neighborhood of Seattle. Within one block are some of the best restaurants Seattle has to offer, as well as numerous boutique stores, grocery store, and coffee shops. You can sleep up to six guests, in this apartment, there is a queen bed in master bedroom, a full bed with two twins in the second bedroom and a full pullout bed. Washer and dryer in the unit. Free high speed internet and cable TV. This apartment is only a 15 minute bus ride to downtown Seattle.

Why Morteza Safai chose Phinney Ridge

I bought this building because ten years ago i fell in love with the building charm and the area. The location is superb - the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, but within a block and a half walk to two major streets - Greenwood Ave and Aurora Ave. Greenwood is small-town homey with tons of great local restaurants, cafes and pubs - great for walking and eating. Aurora is a larger street with rapid bus transit to downtown sites. There is a small organic grocery store at the corner on Greenwood (Ken's) and a larger one on Aurora (PCC), plus a Fred Meyer (like Walmart) a little further away (on 85th), but still walkable. You can walk to Green Lake, which is a beautiful lake/park for walking (a highlight of Seattle), and the zoo and Fremont (tons of restaurants) are just to the south off of Greenwood. If you have a car, you are within minutes of I-5, downtown, the university area, Ballard, Fremont, etc. The place was very well laid out - glass doors to open living/dining/kitchen area with pretty windows giving tons of natural light.

The apartment has very large living room and dining room. brand new washer and dry in the Kitchen. Nice back yard with a porch.

Awesome location and house.

We had a wonderful time in this house. It was perfect and had everything we needed. The location is awesome with Ken's market up the street. Ridge pizza is also delicious. We Ubered all around but next time I may have rented a car since it would have been easy to park at the house. Loved this place! Two adults and two teenagers fit perfectly.

Quaint, quiet, clean!

My husband and I reserved this house with plans to have 4-6 people staying with us. It turned out that only the two of us were there and we enjoyed it very much! The weather on June 11-13 was just perfect so we spent evenings on the lovely back porch sipping wine and appetizers. There is no expansive view but a quaint yard with surrounding properties. The home is in immaculate condition and we had everything we needed for our short stay. We can't wait to come back again. Easy parking, lovely walk close to a market.

Perfect location

We had a great stay in this very comfortable bungalow. We booked it for our "Big City Weekend" and participation in the Swedish Medical Brain Cancer walk. We live in rural Skagit County. Our two oldest loved the bunk bed. Sitting on the back porch watching the sunset paint Rainier and the boys play with the girls staying upstairs was serene. Ken's Market was just up the street it's easier to walk then to drive. The kitchen was very functional, there was little we needed besides the groceries themselves. The bungalow is close to it's neighbors as most city homes are but with the mature landscaping it was hardly noticeable. This place is close to all the parts of Seattle we love. The zoo and Green Lake are almost walkable from here. Also just a short drive you can reach downtown, Ballard locks/market, gasworks, golden gardens, etc. This home was perfect for our family and our short adventure in the big city I hope it will be perfect for the next bunch. For the younger crowd there seemed to be a great pocket of fine pubs and eateries on the ridge.

Great Location - Electic Neighborhood

We stayed at the Green Lake Apartment for a week while visiting my son in Seattle. There were 3 of us but the apartment could easily fit 6.

The Pros

The place was very nice, and very clean with comfortable beds. Ken's market was within walking distance so it was easy to get groceries and there are plenty of cool bars and restaurant's in the area so we never had to get in the car to drive to a restaurant. It was nice being able to drink a little and walk home. The weather was spectacular and the people are friendly. This was the best priced rental in the area.

The Cons

You could hear the upstairs neighbors a little and although I don't care for TV, the guys complained that there were no sports channels available.

Bottom line: great place for the price (you can't beat it - Seattle is expensive); convenient to restaurants; good contact and instructions from owner. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, perfect stay!

We stayed at this property for a week over the winter holidays to be near family and we couldn't have been happier. It was wonderful to children able to sleep in their own room and a spacious living room/dining room for entertaining our relatives (who all have cramped one bedrooms nearby).

We were absolutely delighted by our experience with this property. It was impeccably clean and well appointed. (The kitchen was sufficiently outfitted to host repeated family gatherings.) My kids adored sleeping in the bunk beds in the second bedroom. The location could not have been better--a quick walk to Phinney Ridge with groceries, pizza, gelato, a quick walk to lovely Green Lake with trails and restaurants (and a great game store!), being so close to Aurora meant that getting around was quick and easy. We loved the neighborhood for going on walks. Best of all was Mount Ranier peeking through our kitchen window on sunny mornings--gorgeous! The bathroom lighting was excellent (which seems weird, until you need good lighting).

Our host was communicative and accessible, but we didn't need anything during our stay. We would absolutely seek this rental out again. Thank you!
