The home seemed bigger in person, plenty of room for 5 adults to spend time together.
Linda and Dan were thoughtful hosts making sure we had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the brownies and the view. All 5 adults enjoyed our time together playing games provided as we waited up to see the Northern Lights. Unfortunately the lights didn’t cooperate but we would definitely go back to try again. I can only imagine how nice it would be during warmer weather since it was so beautiful during the snow. The furniture and beds were great quality and we thoroughly enjoyed being there. Both days we did the easy drive into Fairbanks but appreciated being out of the town.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay & had a good vacation time together.
It was a privilege to meet you & your family.

Flying ducks rock
We were welcomed in person by the owners and a pan of awesome brownies. It was very clean, quiet, peaceful, and we were given great suggestions on places to visit. They were like family rather than strangers. We would definitely stay here again if we are able to return to Fairbanks. Would definitely recommend this cabin as we felt like we were at home rather than just renting a place to stay.
Such a peaceful, beautifully decorated, cozy place to stay. Immaculate and well furnished. Linda was very kind and we appreciated the pan of brownies that awaited our arrival. Thank you Linda for a lovely stay.
Comfortable & remote
Private and pretty view off back porch, we would highly recommend.
Perfect place in North Pole.
Hosts Linda and Dan are awesome people. The place is very, very nice. Was perfect for the 5 of us.
Very nice & well-kept property.
Accommodations are very nearly new and very nice. Other than the main house (we so nobody there during our 2 night stay), it is secluded and private. The rooms are on top of the garage with a large gravel parking & fire pit area. The bedrooms are across the hall from each other, so privacy is not great. We had 4 adults and the one bathroom was manageable. Full kitchen and utensils. Like most Alaskan properties there is no AC. The smaller of the 2 bedrooms was a bit hot at night because it has no windows, when outside temps were in the 70's. The larger bedroom does have one window & cooled down at night. Both rooms had fans. Property backs up to a large slough/meandering river. The deck is useful for entering the property, but there is no room for chairs. However, there is ample room around the firepit for chairs and a view of the river. There is a very large grass yard with the main property, but we did not have any children with us, so we did not inquire if it could be used for play. Property is 5 minutes from convenience store/gas, North Pole store and highway to Fairbanks. Linda was very nice to provide a tray of 'welcome brownies' and bottled water in the fridge.
So glad you had a nice stay & vacation to Alaska.
It was nice to meet you & your friends.
