This was the best New Orleans trip!
I don't think I can say enough good things. Staci kept in touch the entire time. We were arriving Thurs night and she texted early Thurs am saying we could check in any time. I had to have meds delivered and the next door neighbor was able to receive the packages for me. The location was perfect. The Garden District is so beautiful and so peaceful. Location is key and the stay is right around the corner to 2 really great restaurants(Big Red Diner and shoot---I can't remember the name of the one on the corner).
The stores in the neighborhood remind me of My City's Haight St or kinda like Berkeley.
The stay itself is quaint. Originally, there were supposed to be 4 of us but it ended up just being 3 but even with 4 there's enough space. The bed was soooooo comfortable. The shower felt amazing! There's a Walgreen's right across the street for water or toothpaste or whatever. They have a binder w/ restaurant and tour flyers which were very helpful. I would totally come back and stay. Staci, the neighborhood, the City---the best vacation of my life!
You don't find many places in New Orleans like this one. It was great for a small family or couple. Very very clean. Very comfy. Has everything you need in it. Love the location. Steps away from everything you could possible want to eat or do. I will absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much for a clean, cool place to stay at. We loved it and slept so good!! Very comfortable!!
Best section of Magazine St.
Great property in the heart of Magazine Street's busiest section. Very comfortable condo. Perfect for friends who want separated sleeping areas: one in bedroom and one on pullout sofa in living/kitchen area.
Charming and great location.
Everything you need for a great stay in New Orleans, and then some! Thank you for a wonderful place to call home this week.
Our stay in New Orleans was perfect! The apartment is located just off Magazine St., with many restaurants, shops, and neighborhoods to wander and see the quieter side of New Orleans. A lyft to the CBD or French Quarter is about $11 and the #11 bus is $3 for a 24 hour pass; making this the perfect spot to see all NOLA has to offer.
The apartment was just as pictured and described. Beautifully decorated, the space is large, bright, and quiet. We did not take advantage of the kitchen (too many great places to dine), but it appeared well stocked. We did however enjoy coffee in the morning on the patio just outside the bedroom. The bedroom was great size with plenty of closet space and an extremely comfortable bed.
We highly recommend staying here. Our host was very responsive to our questions and provided great suggestions for our stay. We will return in the future.
Location and Quaint
Location is awesome! From Uber drivers to our nephew...wow how did you find this place! It is behind the Rum House but no issues with noise.
The place is quaint and Staci has it stocked with essentials such as water, soda, laundry detergent, hair dryer, etc. It was nice that we did not have to go to the store to purchase these items. The place was extremely clean!
It is in the back of a building so you do have to walk down a narrow walkway. I had a large suitcase that I had to turn sideways. However, this also gave you privacy and was behind a locked gate for security.
Security, we walked to Commanders Palace at night, which is a 10 minute walk, and felt safe.
30 steps from The Rum House tropical restaurant & bar In a 3 block radius there are over 12 restaurants, many bars and over 20 retail stores: The heart of the Magazine Street corridor
