Review from Recent Guest:
We loved our time at the house! Our family spent almost five months there (late Aug 2016 through Jan 2017) while our own home was being renovated. The house is large, renovated, and beautifully decorated. It’s clear that the owners care about their home, which makes a big difference. We especially loved being surrounded by their art, which graced every room, and their exceptional collection of books. The master suite, with its stunning ensuite bath and private deck, provides a perfect retreat.
The location is perfect for exploring the city: it’s surrounded by parks, and valleys though it’s just two blocks away from the subway. Everything one could possibly need – LCBO, Shopper’s Drug Mart, bookstores, cafes, restaurants, concert hall, etc. is available on Danforth Avenue, a short walk away. The Playter Estates/Riverdale neighbourhood itself is vibrant, and the immediate neighbours on either side are very friendly and community-focused.
Finally, a word about the property manager and the owner: they were a real pleasure to deal with and made our stay worry-free. They responded very promptly to any questions we had, and were great about accommodating schedule changes as our reno stretched on.
As excited as we are to move back into our own place, we’re sorry to leave - this feels like home. Highly recommended.
