About Leslie Lee

I rented this cabin for years from the prior owners and have always loved it here. I'm an avid hiker and nature lover, and the setting at the cabin feels like you're way back in the mountains. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Leslie Lee purchased this cabin in 2015

Why Leslie Lee chose Puget Sound North

The world drops away the minute you cross the suspension bridge and wind down the tree-lined road. It's a perfect get-away, a bit over an hour from Seattle, in the loveliest setting.

What makes this cabin unique

Beautiful trees and river. Huge slabs of moss covered granite. Quiet & peaceful with nothing but the sounds of the river and an occasional distant train whistle. A hot tub overlooking the river. And the cabin is an artist made, quirky, charming, cozy restful place.

We loved this place and will be back. Quiet, private and surrounded by the beauty and sound of rushing water. It was ideal for a get away with my wife and me.

Pictures don't do this place justice!!

My wife and I spent 6 days at this incredible A-frame cabin. The seclusion and romantic setting was what we were looking for and "a river runs through it" went above and beyond expectations. The cabin had everything we needed, included a heated bathroom floor and hot tube, and Leslie was easy to reach and accommodating. We plan on returning.

Way more than we even expected!

Couple's getaway. Saw pics online and thought "awwww, how quaint".

Well, as soon as we walked in our jaws dropped. IT IS WAY BETTER IN PERSON. It is so much more than "quaint". It is so very private and just absolutely gorgeous. The river was roaring and seemed so close we could touch it. The personal handmade touches that are found on every surface are just incredible. You seem to notice a new personal touch every day. We were constantly saying, "Whoa! Look how cool this is! Did you see this?"

This is not your everyday cabin in the woods. This is something way way more special.

Anything you could ever need is there and in fact, we did not leave the cabin the entire 3 nights and 4 days we were there. It was warm, cozy, extremely clean, romantic, and just absolutely incredible. From the iron forged door handles on the French doors to the hand crafted bathroom sink and door handle..... there is something artistic to see everywhere you look.

Couches upstairs and downstairs seem to be brand new and have down or down alternative cushions. The bed pillows are also down or down alternative. Sooooooo soft and plush. It's rustic luxury.

We found everything we needed to cook. Nothing was missing.

Spent enough time in the hot tub to turn into prunes.

We even got to use the outdoor fire pit by the river as it only rained one day while we were there.

I just can't say enough about this magical place. I'm coming back for a women's weekend and we'll definitely be back for another romantic getaway weekend as well.

Thank you Leslie for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!
