About Leslie Lee
I rented this cabin for years from the prior owners and have always loved it here. I'm an avid hiker and nature lover, and the setting at the cabin feels like you're way back in the mountains. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Leslie Lee purchased this Cabin in 2015
Why Leslie Lee chose Baring
The world drops away the minute you cross the suspension bridge and wind down the tree-lined road. It's a perfect get-away, a bit over an hour from Seattle, in the loveliest setting.
What makes this Cabin unique
Beautiful trees and river. Huge slabs of moss covered granite. Quiet & peaceful with nothing but the sounds of the river and an occasional distant train whistle. A hot tub overlooking the river. And the cabin is an artist made, quirky, charming, cozy restful place.

Can’t Wait To Come Back
This cabin is beyond relaxing. Incredibly secluded, right on the river, breathtaking views from every window. The hot tub, heated floors and wifi were a bonus, too. We cannot wait to come back.
Lovely cabin with a beautiful view and surround sound of nature!
We had a great stay at this quaint cabin. We greatly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after our nearby excursions and hikes. You won’t be disappointed!
Best of both worlds
This was one of my best experience ever. My wife and kids described it as "best of both worlds" - as you a very comfortable stay with heated floor, movies, wi-fi etc, and you have this great view and experience of the river. I described this as living with great taste as I found all rooms to be decorated beautifully, space utilization inside is superb and no matter where you are you enjoy the moment because both inside and outside is interesting. We will be back next year.
Second time me and my wife have stayed here, we love it. Plan to stay here again in the future, highly recommend!
Charming cabin in a beautiful setting
This cabin is the perfect combination of rustic charm and necessary comforts. The setting by the creek is beautiful, and the overall location is a great jumping off point for many adventures. There are several hikes nearby and some companies that offer rafting not too far away. We did an 8-mile portion of the Iron Goat trail that was beautiful and had a fascinating railroad history tied to it. We really appreciated the hot tub when we returned. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple meals, and the cabin had cozy places to sit with a good book. It was also nice to have WiFi because we didn’t have cell service in the area. I recommend this cabin highly! And I hope we get to come again.
Whimsical hidden gem!!!
What a fantastic cabin stay we had! The view and sound of the creek was absolutely priceless! The home was clean, comfortable, and had both class and character! Kitchen has everything ya may need, bathroom as well! Speaking of, that tub and sink will be some of the cutest ones you’ll see....very fitting for a cabin! The hot tub was clean, well maintained, and sour rounded by nature’s beauty! The loft was amazing and the couch is situated by the large window that transports ya to a a non-stressed world! Thanks for the awesome stay! The mini-train rides up at Skykomish were another fun bonus! If your lookin for a slow spot on the river to float on that’s safe for the kiddos, hang a right at the Money Creek campground and go all the way to the end to where the road is closed (was washed out by the river). Walk past the road closed signs and you will find your own quiet area to enjoy the cold waters! Will definitely recommend!
Nestled in a valley surrounded by spectacular mountains with hiking from short and easy to challenging mountaineer & climbing routes. Nearby rivers for fishing, kayaking & rafting.
