About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 4

The dog-friendly Walker Cabin is snuggled in the woodsy neighborhood of Cedar Flat and features brand new flooring, a large furnished deck, and a close proximity to Carnealian Bay beaches!

Only one-and-a-half miles away is Waterman's Landing, a cozy spot to rent stand-up paddle boards and grab a sandwich. There’s even a mini golf course nearby. Just four-and-a-half miles away is the Tahoe City Marina and Commons Beach for boating and live music in summer.

Combining luxury and rustic living, Walker Cabin boasts a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher and a great room with plenty of space for everyone to relax and watch some cable TV. WiFi is also provided, so you won’t be totally cut off from the outside world, unless you want to be!

Kings Beach is only about five miles away, and is a popular spot on the North Shore that offers a sandy beach and many family-friendly restaurants.

About Vacasa, CA - Lake Tahoe Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Birthday Weekend Success

Great cozy home that's well equipped in the kitchen. The BBQ could use a little maintenance but it did its job. great hiking near by and great area to bring your dogs. We would definitely rent again.

Great location, Cabin needs cleanup and updating

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is in a wonderful location in Carnelian Bay; but it is showing it's age. The bathroom is very narrow with a high step to enter the shower and Jacuzzi tub (the Jets themselves seemed quite dirty and would not dare use it). The beds absolutely need to be replaced too. Hopefully someone will take these things in hand because it's a great little cabin.

Clean and cozy snowy getaway

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much! Perhaps our favorite part was the snowshoe/x-country trail up the road from the house with views of the lake.

Prefect for a ski weekend

  • 4 of 5

We rented this cabin for a weekend of skiing. It is within a 30 minute drive to Northstar, Squaw, Alpine Meadows & Tahoe cross country ski area. 4 WD a necessity.
