great family rental

I recently celebrated my 60th birthday and stayed here with my three adult daughters and my partner.It was truly delightful and there was plenty of space for everyone.Only a one minute walk to the free TOV bus its a great spot.Would definitely stay here again.

Owner needs to change managment company

Great location. Bus stop is 100 feet away from front door. However, a property can have a great location and if the management company is not doing their job, the location becomes irrelevant. We arrived Wednesday evening. The Olympics were on so we immediately tried to turn on the TV. There were four remote devices although no instructions on how to turn on system. We tried to turn on the TV for at least 30 minutes and gave up. So, I called the management company. I was to call back in the morning. I said no. I paid good money to rent the place and I wanted instructions to turn on the TV. I have rented numerous condos in Vail and other ski areas and they should have instructions on how to work the TV system, and other items including on where the hot tub was located, etc. (which they didn't). They said instructions would be on the front door the next day. After returning from skiing Thursday, there was no instructions. I called the management company again. The operator said that I had contacted the answering service and that she couldn't do anything other than have someone call us back. They never did. I called again Friday and asked them to call me back. They never returned the call. Overall, they were arrogant and didn't seem to really care. They just wanted me off the telephone....even though each time I called I was on hold for a considerable amount of time. I own numerous properties in the Central Texas area and have my own management company and certainly know how a management company should respond to such requests. It's really unfortunate. I am sure that the owner pays the management company a considerable cut of the rental fee and they treat the occupant this way.

Owner's Response: Hi Joseph! Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like you only called our emergency answering service at night, which is why we didn't learn about your difficulties with the TV remotes until after your departure. We were in the office every day during your stay. You didn't call us then, nor leave us a voicemail. You could have replied to one of our emails, and informed us of your needs. But you didn't. You only called the emergency service at night. When I learned of your complaint after your departure, I went to the condo to check it myself. I turned on the TV, and it was on the wrong input, so I pressed the Source button twice, and fixed the problem. The TV came on and worked great. Sometimes people press the wrong button, and it's impossible to write instructions to deal with every little combination of starting points. Next time, please just call during the day or email us. We want to help our guests. Thanks, Vail Management

Great location

The location was excellent - near the free bus system and close to the grocery store. The beds were all very comfortable. There were not near enough towels and the hot tub access was around the corner, not out the back door. There was seating for 8 at the table and on the couches, which were very cozy. The bedroom that faces the street doesn't have a window covering. The basement was great for our teenage boys.

Great townhome with easy access to Vail mountain!

Excellent property! Clean and well appointed. The free Town of Vail bus stops just steps from the front door and puts you in Lionshead village in less than 10 minutes. Great place for a group to stay!
