Quaint 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath With Outdoor Firepit
Perfect cabin for couples, a family get away, or fun with friends in a small rural community . The cabin has been recently remodeled with new log siding and a beautiful new kitchen. Three bedrooms will sleep eight comfortably or 6 privately with 1 king, 2 queens, and 1 double bed. (Please Note--the master bedroom has 1 king bed and 1 queen bed, if privacy is a concern). All the bedding is brand new with an "old cabin" feel. All the beds offer a great nights sleep with new mattress toppers. The house has two full bathrooms. The master bath is brand new with a large spacious shower.
While at the cabin unwind with a good book, enjoy rocking on the front porch listening to the wildlife or playing games with friends and family. You'll find books, games, and movies at the house or bring your own favorites. Several Redbox vendors can be found in town as well. There is a new 42" flat screen TV in the living room with basic Dish Network including local Atlanta channels so you won't miss your favorite football game. There is also Netflix access & a DVD player. The master bedroom has a 32" television. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
For outdoor fun you'll find a new fire-pit to enjoy on a cool mountain evening. Why not roast some marshmallows while star-gazing! Or just enjoy relaxing and spending time with friends.
The brand new kitchen is beautiful with granite counter-tops and new hickory cabinetry. It is well stocked with all the necessary appliances for cooking meals. With a little notice we will accommodate special needs if possible. The floor plan is open, making it roomy enough for lots of help in the kitchen.
When your ready to venture out we are centrally located to many great adventures. We posted lots of great things to see and do in "Other Attractions & Activities". Be sure to note all of our favorite places to eat or maybe you'll find one to tell us about. To get you started though, downtown Blairsville is just a short 5 miles or so away. You'll find grocery stores and everything you need to stock up for your stay. Within a mile from the house you'll find a Dollar General and Chevron Station in case you've forgotten something. Murphy, NC is a short 30 minutes away, home of the new Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino Many other great places to visit are only a short drive away. You'll find lots of pamphlets in the cabin to help you get started.

We all enjoyed the cabin and would like to come back again!
The cabin was very clean and cute.
We enjoyed the mountain scenery and fresh air. Quiet neighborhood. Easy drive to other areas where there is more to do.
Beautifully maintained, cosy home. Perfect for our 3 couples and a child. Very attentive owners.
Great location for northern Georgia Mtns. Home is warm and inviting. Owners have covered every detail, ensuring their guests' comfort with facilities, decor and furnishings. Communication was excellent before arrival and during our stay. We didn't need anything, and had no problems, but if we had there's no doubt it would have been quickly seen to. Certainly would love to return.
Thank you so much Liz for your kind review. We do strive to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed having your family. You were perfect guests! We look forward to having you visit again!
We loved everything about staying here
Thank you Nikita! You and your family were perfect guests. We hope you’ll come again! :)
Cabin had plenty of room, all of the ammenties, and sat on a beautiful piece of land.
We rented this as a family getaway consisting of my girlfriend, her children, and myself. We live 900 miles apart due to me being in VA for the Navy, so we picked this beautiful place which just so happened to be our halfway point. I was overwhelmed with the coziness of this place as we stepped inside for the first time; pictures do not do it justice. We were greeted by a family room with a gas fireplace, 2 couches, flat screen above the mantle, and a foosball coffee table. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils one would need for day to day cooking. The 2 boys each had their own rooms and shared bathroom, which they loved the decorations in them by the way. My girlfriend and I had the master suite with 2 large walk-in closets, bathroom, and a laundry room. Access to the yard could be through the front door or through the master suite out the side. The porch was nicely decorated and included rocking chairs and a propane grill. The yard had a seating area around a fire pit and wood was provided. We brought some yard games such as lawn darts and ladder ball in which we enjoyed passing time outside with each other. Susan was such a great help when we had some personal issues arise during our stay (completely outside of our control and nothing to do with the property). She accommodated us in our needs and was so sincere and giving. I will definitely have to come back here again. Great place, beautiful sights, and the owners are always willing to help with needs and are just a text or phone call away. Thanks so much for letting us stay here and being so helpful throughout our stay.
Thank you Justin! What a wonderful review. You are so kind!! We enjoyed having your family and it is always our pleasure to be sure our guests have the best possible time in our beautiful mountains. You were perfect guests and we will be glad to have you back anytime.
Very quiet and clean environment with nice beds and comfy sheets
Despite GPS getting us lost the cabin was great. It was very well kept, everything was ready to use (including the propane grill), beds were made and the sheets were freshly washed. The kitchen had a nice selection of tools to work with for cooking in. Overall I really enjoyed my stay. It was incredibly relaxing and would highly recommend to anyone. The owners are also very responsive and help out wherever they can.
Thank you for your review. We strive to make everything comfy for our guests and really appreciate when they notice! Also I’d like to thank YOU for being such a pleasure to have and to work with. Hope you’ll visit us again soon!
Blairsville is a small town at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The views as you travel the area rival anywhere in the world. The area enjoys four distinct seasons so there is always something new and different regardless of the time of year. It is a haven for outdoor enthusiast. Everything from hiking to mountain biking to fishing & boating to white-water rafting to horse back riding and more can be enjoyed here or within a short drive. Brasstown Bald, the highest point in the state of Georgia, is here in Union County. Vogel State Park is a beautiful place for a picnic and a walk around the lake. There are also several challenging trails inside the park. Throughout the year the park hosts many fun events such as their Mountain Music Festival and Christmas Tree Lighting. Be sure to check their calendar during your stay. Another great spot is just up the road. If your up for a strenuous mountain hike the views are spectacular from Blood Mountain, a section of the Appalachian Trail. For white-water rafting we are within a short drive of the Ocoee River, home of the 1996 Summer Olympics, with Class III-IV white water and the Nantahala River with Class II-III white water. Both provide an exciting and fun-filled adventure. Nottely Lake just down the road can provide hours of water fun. Pontoon boats and jet skis can be rented locally or bring your own boat. There is plenty of room for parking on the property and several places to put in within a short drive. If fishing is what your after Chatuge Lake in Hiawassee is a better bet. Or nearby Toccoa River is known for it's fly-fishing. If you've been wanting to try your hand at it there are guides that would be glad to show you the right spots. If going it alone be sure to check the water release times as it is part of the TVA system and the water can become rapid quickly. During the summer and fall months the local Farmer's Market is a special treat. There you can find in-season local produce as well as a variety of handmade crafts. It is open Tuesday from 2 pm to 6 pm and Saturday from 7 am to 1 pm. If you find yourself free on Thursday or Friday the Trash & Treasure sale can be a fun way to spend some time. You never know what you'll find! It is also hosted at the Farmers Market. The hours are 8 am to 1 pm. Meek's Park, one of the most beautiful parks in North Georgia, is another great place to visit with over 5 miles of walking trails, a playground, pavilions and picnic tables. It is home to the Scottish Festival, Sorghum Festival and the award winning Butternut Creek Festival. It also houses the counties recreational department with playing fields, tennis courts, and pool. The walking trails connect to our local dog park found on the campus of North Georgia Technical College. There you can also find a disc golf course. Golf courses abound as well. Two local courses, Butternut Creek and Old Union are both excellent. And within a thirty minute drive are Brasstown Valley in Young Harris and Cherokee Hills in Murphy, NC. If shopping is what you're after there are many boutique style shops, as well as an abundance of thrift stores and antique shops. Many find our local Flea Markets a fun way to spend an afternoon. If your looking for outlet shopping, North Georgia Premium Outlet is in Dawsonville approximately 50 miles away. How about a Spa Day? There are two excellent spas nearby. Serenity in the Mountains located in Blue Ridge is a full service spa including a hair salon. They are known for their excellent service and relaxing atmosphere. Equani Spa at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris can also provide a variety of services. The views from their terrace are an added treat. Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino in Murphy, NC is just a short 30 minute drive away. Or maybe you'd like to take a train ride.... Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is nearby. These are but a few of the many, many things to do and see while visiting the area. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. Whether your looking for the best stable to enjoy a horseback ride or where to find the nostalgic drive-in, we are glad to help.
