About Victoria & Brad Myers

We are Brad & Victoria Myers . . . . . part of an extended family of 5 generations living in the Bay Area with roots in the area reaching back to the 1850's. Though we've lived and traveled in a number of countries, we always come back to Northern California, which is home in our hearts. No matter the time of year, we particularly love to rest and refresh in the California Sierras, the Gold Country, and our favorite park, Yosemite.

Victoria & Brad Myers purchased this house in 1987

Why Victoria & Brad Myers chose Yosemite Area

Our home property was originally purchased with funds from our grandparents and constructed/built, by our parents, with their own hands. Over the years, during our many trips to the family home in Pine Mountain Lake, Brad and I knew that we'd like our growing family to enjoy Lakeview Lodge as well . . .

A place to retreat from the hustle of the Bay Area. A place for extended family and friends memories. Over the last three years we've made substantial upgrades to Lakeview Lodge and each year moving forward we'll continue the renovation process . . . We know your family / group will have many happy memories here as well.

What makes this house unique

Our family enjoys sitting out on the decks with the beautiful views of the lake, both early in the morning - watching deer, fox and other small creatures and in the evening as possum and raccoon pass by. The upper and lower decks, surrounded by Pine and Oak trees, give plenty of room for friends and family to relax and socialize. Pool table "tournaments" in the game room is a favorite of family and guests. Though some guests think only of nearly Yosemite Park, Pine Mountain Lake and Groveland are a destination within itself - with swimming/sun bathing & BBOs at the nearby popular Marina Beach with it's great snack bar and sail, canoe and paddle boat rentals. There's golfing, horseback riding, community pool, tennis courts, archery, hiking and more.

Great View

  • 4 of 5

This was a great place to stay! The view from the porch was amazing. It was only a few minutes away from the marina. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is because a few of the beds were uncomfortable. Otherwise, this place is great! I would recommend it to friends and family.

Great for Weekend Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Loved this property! I came up to Yosemite for Memorial Day Weekend with a large group of 16 people. We were really grateful to find a cabin that could not only fit us all comfortably but was also in such a great location. It was truly a home away from home. We used the grill for really great BBQ dinners, hung out by the Lake which was only a short walk away, and drove into Yosemite for hikes. I couldn't have asked for a better place for us to stay. Thanks for the great experience Victoria! We'd love to be back again. :)

Great stay Great view

  • 5 of 5

There was 16 of us most of the time and we did not feel crowded. Victoria got back to me right away whenever I had a question before and during our stay. The place was very clean. There were plenty of towels, blankets, dishes, etc. The view is wonderful. It's a great place to enjoy your family or go and sit quietly with the Lord. I would recommend this place.

  • 5 of 5

The house easily accommodated 14 of us. The house was equipped with all the basic amenities and provided enjoyable environment for kids and adults. The view from upper deck was awesome especially early morning. More over the communication with the Victoria(land lord) was so smooth. Thank you for the stay. I recommend this.

No good

  • 2 of 5

The furniture very old. Beds very uncomfortable. Very expensive for what we got. Stayed 2 nights instead of three nights. I wonder if we will get refunded for the third night that we paid for but did not stay.

Owner's Response: Avo, I'm sorry your stay wasn't up to your expectations. Pictures of Lakeview home, rooms and furniture are accurate so I'm sorry you were surprised. Lakeview is a mountain home so furniture style is different that a modern hotel or other lodging. Best to you and group in future travels, Victoria

Better than in the pictures!

  • 5 of 5

Upon arrival on the property, everything was nicely laid out. No trouble getting in and out of the house, all the guidelines were written great. It got rather really cold at night so the heater on might be something to consider. The house is really nice, looks well kept. Everything was as described.

Owner's Response: Leticia and group, So glad your group had a wonderful time at Lakeview Lodge . . . . you're right, pictures don't capture all of Lakeview Lodge's character and warmth. This winter did seem colder with all the rains . . . Hope to see you all again. Best, Victoria
