Why Russ & Tami Woerner chose Baldwin County
This property is in a fantastic location for some of the best sunsets around. The Happy Mullet has a great pier for crabbing, fishing, and a covered pier with a boat slip. Across the street from Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge has miles of hiking and some great Birding as well. You will be 1.5 miles from Mobile St. Beach. A fantastic beach access with parking and a boardwalk to the beach. Historic Fort Morgan is 12 miles west and Gulf Shores main drag (Highway 59) is 9 miles East.
What makes this House unique
Down below the house is plenty of room to spread out. A porch swing, hammock, Hanging chair, a couple of rockers and a picnic table

We had never rented for an extended stay. Had only viewed the property from photos. The property was certainly a great place and exceeded our expectations.
Such a wonderful vacation place
Was a awesome stay time goes by way to fast, great owners ,great place, tucked away no road traffic, very peaceful and close to everything .
Very clean very private. Will definitely stay here again soon!
The house clean and comfy! 15 min from just about everything! We loved our stay
We loved staying here. It is an out-of-the-way place away from the condos and high rises, peaceful and relaxing. The owners live next door so no rowdy crowds here. The house was clean and well kept. There were lots of jelly fish in the water when we were there, but we weren't planning on swimming anyway, and there's a public beach access about a mile away across the street that we drove to which was nice, quiet and no crowds. This place is on our list of favorites to visit.
2017 Labor Day Vacay - Best ever!
My family and I absolutely love the Happy Mullet. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy Labor Day all the while watching the kids have a blast fishing and crabbing on the pier. We loved watching the brown pelicans and dolphins. The swing on the covered dock was the perfect spot for quiet time and morning coffee! The beach is a very short drive just across the road, and the water was perfect during our stay. Russ, the owner, is very easy to contact and answered any questions I might have had. He even came by a couple of times to see if we needed anything. :) The three bedrooms, two full baths, and spacious kitchen/living area provided ample space for us. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there are plenty of bath towels. The neighbors are great folks. They even shared their fishing catch with us! The only negative thing I will say is that our stay was not long enough! We look forward to another time when we can return to the Happy Mullet. Thanks again Russ for sharing your beautiful home with us!
