Amazing loft

  • 5 of 5

I loved staying here. Located in my favorite part of Denver, and right upstairs from my favorite bar as well (Star Bar) Tons of food and drink nearby, parking was a little rough in the garage w my big truck but I managed to pull it off. The property is super cool. Awesome brick walls, exposed ducting and hardwood floors. This is my dream loft. Can I buy it? ;) One note I would make is to be sure to bring your own toiletries as none were provided except tp. I will def stay here next time I'm in Denver.

Best location, best loft in downtown. we loved it!

  • 5 of 5

This place was great! Exactly as pictured and very clean; Such a beautiful place to stay, it is in walking distance to all of the fun downtown attractions. (A ton of breweries downtown, Coors Field, etc.) Josh was always great about answering any questions. The accommodations fit us well, and the apartment was easily accessed, the area was very safe with lost of people walking about enjoying many shops. Having an interior parking space was a definite plus! Would stay here again in a heartbeat, next time I'd like to see what that area is like for a big Rockies game, sounds like a blast. Highly recommend!!

Great condo in LoDo Denver

  • 4 of 5

Great property, with private parking garage spot included. Kind of loud on Saturday nights but that is because you are right near the ball park and there restaurants, bars, and clubs all around which is a huge plus for us. The kitchen is lovely with top notch appliances and I only deducted a star as there was too little cookware ( I like to cook ) and I have already shared this with Josh. We look forward to staying there again when we visit family in Denver.

Nice apartment, not the best area

  • 3 of 5

I rented this place in lieu of a hotel to get more of a 'what life would be like if I lived in Denver' feel, because I'm considering moving to my company's Denver office. That said, I'd never live in this area (so it was a helpful stay in a way). Simply put, there are homeless people all over Denver, but there's a large population of them near this apartment because there is a shelter nearby. They're all probably harmless, but it made me uncomfortable at times. Two times when I was arriving back to the apartment at night, there was someone hanging out by the entrance to the building, in the indented part that has some overhead shelter. One was set up to sleep for the night, but got up and left when I arrived. They were fine, but as a single petite female, it's not an ideal thing to come home to and navigate around to get to the door code pad. Also, the 'mini mart' across the street is not really where I'd suggest going for any kind of groceries. It's a seedy convenience store. I got milk there but arranged to get groceries elsewhere, as they don't have real groceries. The mini mart also seemed to be a late night hangout for some people (not the homeless); reminded me of people hanging out in front of the corner store in my neighborhood where I grew up. Harmless, but was noisier than I would have liked. I actually called the Denver noise complaint line and someone came and addressed it within 5 minutes (it was midnight on a work night!). Kudos to Denver officials!

There are a lot of great bars and restaurants really close to the apartment. Ophelia's was really cool and El Chapultepec had great live music. I believe they do every night. Cash only at that one though. There are some others within a block or two that also looked worth a visit; one with pool tables. So good restaurants/night life in the area, which I think populates the area with plenty of other people, tipping the 'safety' feel the other way. It never felt like it was just me and the homeless, as there were others coming/going to the bars and restaurants.

Couch and bed were comfortable. There's no power button on the TV itself and the remote was dead, which meant my first entrance to the place the TV was on and loud and could only be turned off yanking the cord. Was a bit startling, but I can't imagine that happening more than once. All in all, my visit had ups and downs. I wouldn't stay in Five Points again, personally, but I'm sure it's fine for plenty of others.

Owner's Response: hi Darlene I am sorry you felt this was not a great area. this is in fact very safe area of Denver, I know the homeless population can cause some people concern, however all of Denver has the same issue with homeless. this is actually one of the safest areas of downtown, with many great boutique shops and family activity's, I have lived here for 2.5 years with my wife and 2 year old, and never felt any danger. thank you for your stay

Beyond our expectations

  • 5 of 5

We completely enjoyed this property. Yes the street noise is a little loud but we came prepared with our noise maker and it was totally fine. Oktoberfest was right outside our door and there were things to do everywhere. Location, Location, Location! Most excellent!
