This cozy condo located within Savannah's Landmark Historic District is just steps away from historic Greene Square, among the antebellum homes, and beneath the live oaks dripping with Spanish moss. The famed Pirate's House is a short walk away and just beyond is exciting River Street. There is no more convenient location.

The parade route for St. Patrick's Day celebration is a block away.

Enjoy home-away-from-home comforts for your visit to 'America's most beautiful city.' Situated on the second floor of an historic, circa 1915 brick building, this unit offers one bedroom plus a convertible sleeper sofa and accommodates up to 3 guests. There is one full bath with a shower. High quality linens and towels provided. The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets and is outfitted with amenities needed to prepare a large meal. The living room provides seating for a total of 4. There is a flat screen TV, Roku streaming player and Netflix. High-speed WiFi is also included.

The condo is pet friendly.

PARKING - There is both Metered Parking and Free Parking! Parking is relatively easy at this location. There are meters on the north side of the building that are usually unoccupied. The meters are FREE on Saturday and Sunday and are enforced Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. If you go less than 1/2 of a block to Greene Square, Parking is free, as well as on the south side of the building. You may also pay for a visitors pass at the Welcome Center which allows you to park at meters and not have to pay.

Early check-in! Our standard check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Text when you get into town to see if you may check in early.

My husband and I moved to Savannah in 2006 from Carmel, California. We traveled here in 2005 to 'meet the parents' before we married. This property is fun, funky and groovy. Very much a community feel - you may meet locals in the courtyard who are friendly and a wealth of information. This unit is less than a 10 minute walk to River Street! It is airy and recently updated. It's location combined with the price is next to none! Walk across the street to enjoy a meal at Cha Bella or grab a Conquistador sandwich at Zunzi's for a picnic in Greene Square.

Everything necessary for a home base

This condo is located on the edge of the Historic District which was great. Everything was within walking distance but also removed enough from the bars on Bay and River streets.

The condo had everything we needed to relax like was our own place For the price I don't think there's a better deal in town.

nice little pied a terre..a few quirks

First of all I hate not giving this cute extremely clean well stocked condo five stars. We stayed two nights to finish up Xmas shopping and have a little alone time before our big family holiday celebration. The pix on vrbo ..beautiful! When we arrived on a Tues afternoon in the rain there were no parking places anywhere within a few blocks of the rental. We knew we could park in one of the many public garages but given the inclement weather we weren't keen on that. My husband dropped me off . The lock box was easy but I struggled mightily with the key... to the point where I thought it had to be the wrong key !!.finally I got it to work. ( I was soaked though). Relief ! The hallway up to the second floor is less than appealing..dirty in need of fresh paint and if I hadn't seen the delightful pix on vrbo I would have been worried. That lock also proved a bit tricky. Once inside..relief... such a cute well furnished place! Spotless! I will say the condo is very tiny ..looks bigger in the photos..not a big deal but just want future renters to know.

The bathroom is right next to the front door so one does have to walk thru the living area from the bedroom to use it. It is nice size well stocked with towels shampoo facial wipes hand soap . There is a small sofa in the living area and no other chairs..it is an attractive sofa but uncomfortable ( sorry).. my husband I ended up reading and checking email etc in the bed!

The kitchen is nice size ..narrow galley style and though we didn't cook it was well stocked and user friendly. There was coffee and creamer left for us..a nice touch.

I must note that this condo looks directly out onto a narrow corridor directly into the building across from it. So don't expect a view or much sunlight..pretty dark except that is at night! At night there are pretty large greenish neon lights that light the place up like the starship enterprise !!!!! There are blinds and a curtain in the bedroom... none in the kitchen and there was no darkness to be had... thus I slept poorly :( both nights... it was stuffy the first night and sadly the mbr fan was kaput!

That said it is a cozy little place..lots of reading material nice décor..fire escape tiny and ok for a smoke ( we don't) but not exactly the atmosphere for romantic wine sipping.

It did rain alot during our trip so perhaps too much time inside made these things more of an issue than ordinarily .If you plan on spending very little time here its great!

Great Cozy Condo!

My husband and little dog Loki stayed in this condo for 3 nights. The location was perfect and walkable distance to everything. We were able to find street parking right in front of the unit and did not move the vehicle our entire stay since we could easily walk to all the places we wanted to go. The condo was clean, bed was comfy and the kitchen well equipped. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Savannah!

Cute, cozy bohemian flat..Perfect for the on-the-go traveler!

The listing was very accurately described on VRBO. The pictures matched exactly to the layout, decor and design of the flat. It was clean and well maintained. We did not have reason to reach out to the owner, but she was very quick to answer some initial email questions. (The only issue she might want to look at is replacing the ceiling fan pull in the bedroom so the fan can be used) We received an email with very accurate instructions on how to access the flat, prior to our arrival. We would definitely recommend this property to those like us, who spend little time actually hanging out in the property. It was comfortable and provided a comfortable night's sleep, a coffee maker, a nice place to have coffee in the morning, a refrigerator for our leftovers and adult beverages, and a nice kitchen with very nice kitchen gadgets had we felt the urge to cook. There was a nice little outdoor area on the fire escape that was very quaint and would be nice to have coffee or an adult beverage, but we weren't around long enough to use it. The location was prime for us. It was only a several block walk to the commercial district in one direction, and to the historical/residential district in the other direction (with many gorgeous squares to pass through in both directions!) I read other reviews of people complaining about different things about this property..the hard couch, a stain on the comforter..DON'T listen to this! It is adorable! Those type of travelers need to stay at a high budget hotel or property, and not chose a quaint $89 a night VRBO! For the value, it was perfect for us. I am giving it 5 stars because it was everything we needed it to be, everything it was described as, and not because it's a 5 star resort. There is a difference. Those looking for a 5 star resort, go stay there and don't write negative reviews of this property! The property is a short walk from the Riverfront area (which wasn't our favorite), but also close to many great eating spots, shops, historical areas and many of the lovely squares. We are foodies, so much research went into our meals! Best--Olde Pink House (4-5 blocks), Lady and Sons (4-5 blocks), Jazz'd Tapas (6-8 blocks), and last but definitely not least, Sandfly BBQ (2 miles? But totally walkable if you're touring in the historical area near Forsythe Park).We parked our car and never drove until we went to Tybee Island 4 days after our arrival. Definitely recommend this trek, and the Crab Shack at Tybee.Charming!

Great location in a beautiful city

Wonderful apartment in a great area of town. Full kitchen, large bedroom and comfortable living room. Even had access to washer and dryer. Within walking distance of all the attractions; lots of free parking if you have a car. The owner was helpful and genuinely wanted our stay to be comfortable and memorable. Would definitely stay there again.

Situated half a block from historic Green Square to the west and the quaint Cha Bella restaurant to the east, this location is perfect for walking all around town. Only two blocks south of Broughton Street and a three minute walk to Bay. There is free off street parking around the immediate area so you can arrive, park and never worry about the car until you leave.
