About Judy Owen
Jerry and Judy are the owners. Jerry is retired from SLED (State Law Enforcement Division) and Judy is retired from Clemson University. Married for 50+ years. Enjoy boating, riding our Wave Runners, swimming and most all the lake has to offer. We will make you very welcome. We enjoy living in the basement apartment and occasionally entertaining on the main level when it isn't rented.
Judy Owen purchased this House in 2010
Why Judy Owen chose Seneca
We have always enjoyed the lake. My parents built this house so it has been a big part of our lives. We purchased the house from the estate in 2010. We sold our home in Florida to be able to live full time on Lake Keowee and have had no regrets. We were living in Clemson at the time of the development of Lake Keowee and enjoyed watching the progression of the lake. We knew this would be an impressive part of our State and on the personal level we felt an alluring from the earliest development.
What makes this House unique
There is always plenty to do and see living here. The lake and mountain views continue to amaze us. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and very safe. Blue Ridge Mountains, hiking trails, and waterfalls are an easy drive. Greenville is less that an hour away.

Convenient and Relaxing
The Owen's house on the lake is very well put together and the view is amazing. Close to Clemson and Seneca for all the social activities. We will definitely try to stay again the next time we're in the area.
Very lovely family. Easy to communicate with. Very respectful. Left everything nice and orderly. Welcome back here anytime.
Beautiful, serene and a great house.
Great owners and fun dock! The lake water was very clean and warm.
We'll be back....
We stayed at the lake house for 4 nights so our daughter could attend orientation at Clemson. Her favorite thing was the lovely tub in the guest bathroom. My favorite things were the well equipped kitchen, the abundance and quality of the bath towels, and of course the view. We all loved how close it was to Clemson and appreciated the hospitality of Judy and Jerry. We'll be back at Thanksgiving and looking forward to knowing exactly what to expect. Oh, and Judy makes a mean peach ice cream.
Wonderful owners. Charming house and fabulous location
We only had one night to stay here and regret that we didn't plan for more. It's a well equipped home with spectacular views.
Welcoming hosts ... spacious home
Very nice home. Very welcoming hosts. Clean , neat and a great view. Spacious rooms and well equipped kitchen. An excellent place to stay.
We came up for my son's graduation. The house is beautiful and very well equipped. Judy could not have been more helpful and the lake was gorgeous.
