About Louis Bischoff

Louis and Molly have been married since 2007. Louis was brave enough to move from Mobile, AL - into "Molly's" world in New Orleans. In addition to being the "Renovators" for this beautiful historic home, we are raising our amazing daughter, along with 1 dog, 4 cats and a goose named "Begneit"

Louis Bischoff purchased this studio in 1995

Why Louis Bischoff chose Carrollton

I knew it when I first saw the house. It needed my attention, and I wanted to give it. You can get away from the city and still be in the city. Depending on the wind, the sounds of the street car, river boats and train remind me that my house is located near the River. Carrollton was laid out by Charles Zimpel in 1833, and annexed by New Orleans in 1874.

What makes this studio unique

I can hide from Mardi-Gras up here, or venture out and join the fun within a 15 minute street car ride.

Perfect location for our needs and very cute place!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed being able to walk to the trolley and some good restaurants, We liked Satsuma for coffee and breakfast and ate too many chocolate croissants at Maple street patisserie. There were some cute boutiques as well right around the corner. Parking was easy and the place is very cute, clean and the bed comfortable! If we had a problem- it was taken care of immediately. We would stay again!

Super convenient, great local restaurants!

  • 4 of 5

The Sanctuary was a lovely place to stay. Easy access to the St. Charles trolley made it convenient to go downtown and all around the city. Great local coffee shops and restaurants too! Love Rue de la Course for coffee and Dante’s Kitchen!
