Beautiful house, perfect for large groups
Well maintained. Great layout and furnishings. Comfortable beds. Plenty of space with huge beautiful yard and deck. Great location. Excellent host and host representative. Can’t say enough good things
Thank you for your kind review, we hope to see you again!
Wonderful home, great location!
We (girlfriends weekend away) had a wonderful time staying in this fabulous home. The house is comfortable and clean and Margo was super helpful in showing us the ins and outs of the house and gave us great recommendations on walks and restaurants. Thank you for a lovely weekend! Us friends have been together for nearly 30 years and it was special for us to have the time to catch up. Hopefully we will be back
Wonderful Experience in this Updated Antique Home
This home was our 'port of call' after relocating from the Pacific Northwest. The charm and character of this Newburyport antique really made us feel like we arrived in New England.
The rooms are large and light which provided an inviting atmosphere as we lived through the changing seasons. We were pleasantly surprised to have a piano available to 'tickle the ivories' during inclement weather.
The garden is visited by beautiful singing birds and playful squirrels that added to the joy and tranquility of the property.
Kudos must also be given to Lisa (owner) and Margo (property manager) for incredibly fast and thoughtful communications before, during and after our stay.
We'll always treasure our time in this updated antique home, its great location to the waterfront and downtown as well as the beautiful surroundings of the property.
Thank you, we were so happy to host you.
Lovely historic home . Updated & comfortable
Property managers were very helpful with check in.
We had a wonderful time here. The house is charming and perfect and our hosts could not have been kinder. Absolutely would recommend staying here (and we may do it again)
Beautiful historical home within walking distance of many sites
My husband and I rented this lovely home for the month of September in order to be in close proximity to family members. Our adult son stayed with us for a few days as his plans altered into a trip to the British Virgin Islands to help after the hurricanes hit. I have never stayed in an Antique home but was delighted by the charm and attention to keeping the history and updating areas to better function. We ate many meals at the house and family gathered there as well. They all loved the home and the grand nephews enjoyed the expansive backyard. I loved the fact that we were well positioned to walk on the Clipper trail, explore the town of Newburyport and the various shops and restaurants, and that the gym was a short walk from our home. As others have mentioned it is a quirky lay out in the bedrooms upstairs but we found it charming and not a problem given there was only three of us. Margo was wonderful to deal with and even accommodated an early check in based upon our red eye flight from California. We couldn't have been happier with our choice and will certainly make contact next time we visit the area.
Thank you for your nice review.
