I really liked the home. It was in a good location. Very charming.
I liked the location. It was close to shopping and restaurants. Close enough to downtown. I liked the sunroom off the kitchen. I would like to come back for memorial day weekend and enjoy the deck and backyard. Highly recommended. My friend enjoyed it as well and would like to come back also.
So happy you enjoyed our cottage. Thank you for caring for it as yours.
Hope you have the opportunity to return soon. 😊

Quaint Rental Cottage
This small, two bedroom cottage packs a lot of character. Nestled up against a fenced in backyard that is tree-covered and a white picket fence around the front yard, gave our dog some space to unwind and enjoy this home away from home. With two bedrooms that both have double beds, my husband and I could each take one room since we're used to a king bed. Both beds were very comfortable. This quaint cottage sits close to a vet hospital and a large fire department and has the low rumble of trains passing through. There is one TV in the living room and no TVs in the bedrooms. The kitchen had plenty of things to use to make food if we choose to do that. We enjoyed the local park, within a 1.5 mile drive that is very large with baseball fields, football fields, walking/jogging paths, tons of parking & some historical connection, along with a dog park. We never figured out how to use the TV but once we got it working, we just left it on. We were eventually offered to phone Kathy's husband, which we didn't do. Nice selection of TV channels and the internet worked like a charm. Nice features include a 3-season room that has room for two to sit and enjoy the beautiful gardens. The landscaping is pretty cool. We could never figure out if there was a light for the backyard. There was a light for the side, wood deck, but it didn't light the backyard enough to feel comfortable using the backyard in darkness. There was a wood pit table with chairs that could have been used. There were actually many sitting areas throughout the yard and on the side, wood deck. The screened in front porch was really nice. The furniture was nice and very comfortable. The laundry area was large and had a washer and dryer there for use which was awesome. The interior decoration was thoughtful and added overall beauty to the house. I loved the folding doors that separate the good sized dining room from the living room. The single bathroom, particularly the shower, was small as others have said but it didn't affect our stay and the bathroom is very reminiscent of the age of the house. The driveway easily fit our two vehicles. This was our first experience using VRBO and we will likely use the service again in our travels.
The cottage was very neat and clean. However, the A/C did not cool the entire house. The living room was very, very hot! Maybe an added ceiling fan, or provide a box fan for that room would work. I know that it was 2 of the hottest days in Nashville, but it still could have been a little more comfortable. The bathroom was EXTREMELY small. A large person could not stay here because of it. Not use to full size beds. Too small for comfort. Not much lighting in the living room or the 2 bedrooms and the backyard lights appeared to be on a sensor, but did not come on. Beautiful landscaping. We took our dogs and they finally adjusted, except for the heat. All in all it was just ok. Probably would be great in the fall or spring. I did think the price was a little high. However, the owners were gracious enough to allow us to check in earlier than 4:00 p.m. We really appreciated that.
Quaint Beautiful Cottage
My husband and I were in the Nashville area for a wedding and had the opportunity to rent this beautiful home for the weekend. The minute we walked into the home we knew we were in for a treat. Dave and Kathy have done a great job creating a relaxed, peaceful environment. The home is immaculately clean and cozy, but we spent most of our time outside enjoying ALL the lovely sitting areas!! We ate every meal outside, taking turns enjoying the various porches and views. We cooked most of our meals for the weekend and the kitchen is well stocked with all you need to prepare your meals. The beds were very comfortable. We had such a good time and wished we could have stayed longer!! If we return to Nashville, we definitely plan on using this rental again!! Thank you Dave and Kathy for such a pleasant stay!
Loved every second of this cottage! We would stay here again and again..
