About Gloria Wilson
My husband parents own a house on this lake. He has been coming to this lake every summer for the past 58 years and I have been lucky enough to have been with him here at the lake for the last 25!
Gloria Wilson purchased this Cabin in 2015
Why Gloria Wilson chose Traverse City
Rennie Lake is very special because of there is no public access we don't have large crowds on the lake. You can enjoy swimming, skiing, and fishing or........Just relax and enjoy watching deer, loons, bald eagles!
What makes this Cabin unique
The sunsets from the deck and sitting around a campfire are things to remember for a lifetime!

Classic Lake Cabin in the woods
This cabin had everything we were looking for in our lake vacation. It is a great setting, with the lake and plenty of trees to hang a hammock. The cabin itself is small, however fit out family of four fine. Most of the time we spent outside at the picnic table, around the fire pit, or on the beach area. Loved that fire wood was even provided! The location is great too, very easy to get to traverse city and most sites were within an hours drive. There was a local grocery store about 15 minutes away. Kitchen was well stocked with all cooking items we needed. A couple of the days were hot ( 90+) so the fans were much needed and appreciated. Gloria was quick to respond to any questions leading up to the stay and during. I would recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to get away, but not too far away. The larger house on property was closer than anticipated, however was not a concern due to the people staying the same week, being very nice and us being gone from the house quite a bit. However could be a concern for some. My Girls loved swimming, kayaking, walking the beach area searing for rocks and shells, fishing. The area felt very safe. Would defiantly recommend!
If you’re looking for a peaceful & relaxing cottage here it is. Rennie Lake is beautiful lake. Great
We throughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint cottage. The screened in porch was a plus. It is very peaceful & quiet in a beautiful wooded setting. Awesome view of the lake. Our dog Coco had a great time exploring the wooded trails. Gloria was a excellent host & met our every need. The location is excellent & close to Traverse City. Rennie Lake is beautiful & we enjoyed seeing Loons & a Eagle. A pontoon is a must. Cruising on the lake is so relaxing. Thank you Gloria for the WiFi & new TV. We enjoyed watching movies on the Blue Ray in the evening. There is a good selection of movies available in the cottage. Thanks again Gloria for a wonderful vacation on Rennie Lake. We’ll surely be back again next July.😎🐾❤️
Peaceful lakeside retreat
We had a great time at Gloria's cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin is small but very clean and right on a quiet lake. We enjoyed sitting in the screened porch every morning drinking our coffee and looking at the lake. We went to the adjoining beach every day to swim, use the paddle boats, kayaks and paddle bikes. Gloria was a great host: very quick to respond to our questions and had great advice. We would highly recommend staying here.
Peaceful and relaxing.
We had a quiet and relaxing stay. Gloria is a wonderful host. This was our second time and we’ll definitely be back again. The new fire pit and updated bathroom were great additions. The close proximity to Traverse City is a plus. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, this is it.
Cabin was great and right on the water
We had a great week. Very relaxing, clean and close to lots of things to do.
A getaway close to everything!
This place was perfect. Beautiful setting on the Lake but close to everything you need! Staying in the cozy cabin felt like we were far away from everything but it only took about 15 minutes to get into Traverse City! I stayed with our 2 young daughters. I would highly recommend it!
