I give it a two instead of a one because of the beautiful area and location. When researching places to stay near Zürich and St Moritz I landed on this apartment in Savognin. However, I noticed in fine print at the bottom under “other chargers” there’s a charge for linen. I question the charge and was later emailed there will not be a charge. So I booked it. The host, Hans, does not live on the property, but was good with responding to questions. I shared twice that we do not speak or read German. He provided me with the name and phone number of the caretaker. He requested a call to the number just prior to arriving. The number provided was a voice message of a lady who speaks only German. The call was not returned, however I did leave time of arrival. When we arrived there was no one at the apartment. Luckily the caretakers last name is on a van near the apartment. This is an apartment complex, so I investigated and heard people talking. It ended up being the caretakers office. The caretaker does not speak English and sign language and motions prove ineffective. He spent about a half an hour trying to get different people to come over and assist him with translating. He was finally successful and those two spent over half an hour with us. We were then informed that, in fact yes, we had to pay a tax per day per person and a linen charge in cash. I requested a day to confer with Hans. His answer was we signed the contract. So we paid. When arrived back from dinner, we noticed there is no toilet paper, no bathroom sink soap, no shower soap, and no extra blankets. In fact we had to ask the caretaker for bathroom and shower towels. I emailed Hans, about the previous correspondence saying we do not have to pay for linen and about the no toilet paper. He is now less communicative.

In addition to this, the apartment needs attention. The two Comfort chairs armrests are completely sticky and the lamb doesn’t work. The apartment may be clean, but it doesn’t feel clean. This apartment was not ready for us. Instead of being concerned and expressing desire to address the issues for the next guest, his response was , “I get only negatives, but all others loved it”. He said not everyone speaks English!

As you can see it is listed as a 2.5 bedroom. Is is a one bedroom with a couch/bed ( not a pullout bed).

Love the area and for us a good location. Pix are accurate, but views are from sky lift not the apartmentt

Erholsam und tolle Aussicht

Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich gleich wohl.

In der Küche war alles da, was man braucht.

Die Aussicht ins Tal ist einfach super. Auch ist es schön, am Abend noch auf dem Balkon zu sitzen und zu entspannen.

Zwei kleine Nachteile: Die Matratze ist recht hart und der kleine Bach vorm Schlafzimmerfenster ist mitunter recht laut.

Einfach erholsam

War sehr gut untergebracht. Die Wohnung hatte einen tollen Ausblick ins Tal. Das Skigebiet bzw. der Skilift war fußläufig erreichbar. Gerne wieder !!

Großzügige, saubere Ferienwohnung mit tollem Ausblick und zwei Balkonen

Die Wohnung ist gut erreichbar, zur Skipiste sind es wenige Gehminuten. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, das großzügige Wohnzimmer hat große Fenster, einen tollen Ausblick auf die Bergwelt und zwei Balkone, Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was notwendig ist und mehr, die Betten sind komfortabel und Schränke und Ablagemöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls mehr als ausreichend. Wir waren zu zweit und top zufrieden, selbst für 4 Personen ist die Wohnung groß genug - dann allerdings schlafen zwei Personen im großen Wohnzimmer. Einen großen Ski- und Skischuhkeller gibt es auch ..... Wir hatten absolut nichts zu bemängeln !!!!
