The Hawaiian Inn is a nice property approximately 3 miles south of International BLVD. It is in a great location where it is easy to go to New Smyrna Beach, Ponce Inlet, Daytona International Speedway, Orlando, or you can just hang out on the beach! :)

About Nick Seidell

We have owned a beach house less than a mile from this property since 2011. We love the area and it is fun for our whole family. We have three children that are presently 13, 6, and 2. We enjoy eating out at many fun local restaurants, spending the day on the beach, walking the beautiful beach, and driving to Disney for the day! Those are just a few of the great things about Daytona Beach. Our primary residence is in Atlanta, GA.

We love Daytona Beach and Daytona Beach Shores. This property is great b/c it is in the nicer part of the Daytona area, on the beach, and has a huge pool! Also, we love being able to be at the beach and do theme parks for the day in Orlando! Get the best of both worlds beach and the top theme parks in the world!! This property gives you great value and has a very nice fun feel to it. Whether you are looking to sit on the beach all day or be really active this area has it all!

I will definitely use this condo again!

Overall, this condo met and exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, AC worked great, it provided me all the amenities (shampoo, soap, hot water, Keurig coffee maker, iron, balcony view, etc.

The beds and linens were clean and comfortable. I never had any trouble with the TV or air conditioner. The only negative thing I would say is the towels are really thin and small, but other than that, everything was nice and I will definitely be using this condo again.

Beautiful view. Room not so great. Also, too many spring breakers.

Was so excited when we got to our room and saw the beautiful view from our balcony. But our excitement soon faded when we couldn't get the A/C to work. We found a dehumidifier in closet that we plugged in and that helped keep the temperature and humidity tolerable. Room was clean and had plenty of bathroom and kitchen supplies for our needs. Lighting was poor. Was hard to read my books at night because of dim lighting. Couple nights were cool and we discovered that the heat didn't work either. What a bummer.

The thing that bothered us the most was the fact that the balcony door couldn't be locked.

With all the spring breakers and drinking going on, we did not feel safe with an unlocked door.

In spite of all the inconveniences, our first week was enjoyable. There was just a sprinkling of spring breakers there. The second week the place was overrun with spring breakers.

So choose your dates carefully.

Nice condo on the beach

Nice place could have used a few more towels As we stayed a week, two chairs to sit on at the beach and blow dryer. Otherwise great place to stay.

it has beds

heat didnt work. really loud water filtration system right outside the door. towels were really poor quality. balcony door did not lock. (we fixed it) ...comfy beds though. if you want to come back and crash...fine place. anything else...look some more

Owner's Response: HI Richard, Sorry to hear you have such bad thoughts for the place. It seems very contradictory to what I hear from most people that stay at this unit. The heat/cool is a centrally controlled system by the HOA and it works. I'm sorry if it didn't get as warm as you would have liked. Towels, I know the towels were a recent purchase as I upgrade them often. They are definitely hotel grade. I will look at upgrading them based on your feedback. I definitely believe this unit and the facilities have a lot more to offer than just somewhere to sleep. Thank you, Nick

STAY AWAY AND AVOID

Besides nice view, nothing was great.

The unit was extremely noisy as there was air condition equipment for entire complex just right outside of front door, so we could not sleep well.

TV was broken, no shampoo nor towels.

Wifi had a very poor.

Wine opener was missing.

Bedding was not clean and cheap.

Owners were not responding to our inquires.

Owner's Response: I will address every item below and always welcome feedback. March 2017 all furniture was replaced in the unit after I received input that the furniture was looking dingy, however, in this case this person is a liar that is trying to get things for free. They have even gone so far as to charge back the entire rental on their card. I have pictures showing damage from this renter in the unit. The pots and pans had to be replaced after this person stayed as they could not be used again. Towels- I have pictures where our third party cleaners found the bath mat in the bed where it appeared something had been spilled. The towels that were supposedly not provided were found all over the room and even a clean towel that hadn't even been used still on the rack. Wine opener- I had the cleaner, who has worked for me for years, check the drawers and found the wine opener in the drawer in the kitchenette. TV- was found to work, however, it appears 6 inches on the left side were dimmed slightly. This was the first report so it must have just occurred. It was replaced that week for a new 1080P 50" TV. Had I been made aware on the first night of the 2 night stay I would have had it replaced during the stay. I was made aware after they were gone via a text stating the TV wasn't right. Shampoo/Conditioner- This is not a hotel and it is not stated that will be provided. Bedding- It is not cheap and all bedding including duvet covers are changed after every stay. Wifi- It is installed for the resort and managed by Spectrum Business Noise- The unit is quiet. If you want to hang outside on the front facing A1A or leave the front door open it would be loud. However, why would you not sit on the nice back porch overlooking the pool and ocean. Inquires- Furthermore, I responded to inquires including multiple text messages late at night on Friday to answer questions. Summary, this person wants a Ritz with a personal concierge service for free. This is a nice unit and is professionally maintained.

6. Cancellations to this reservation less than 30 days prior to arrival date will result in the loss of your deposit. For all monthly reservations the deposit is nonrefundable.


7. The guest acknowledges and understands that the owner shall NOT be liable for injury to the tenant or to any other persons occurring on the premises or any part hereof or in common areas thereof. Renter agrees to hold Owner harmless for any claims for damages no matter how caused.
