Why Property Manager/Owner chose Athens City Centre
This is one of the safest areas, so you can walk around with your friends or your family with no worries. All the main archaeological sites of Athens are within a 2-10 min walk from the apartment, which offers a stunning view of Acropolis! It's the ideal location for any visitor. Your new home away from Home.

Fabulous location with amazing view of the Acropolis, easy walk to everything. Very gracious host. Apartment itself adequate for our needs, couldn’t ask for better location.
Perfect location and very welcoming host!
This was a perfect location for our family. So easy to get to all the major sites- mostly by walking but the subway was right outside the door. Quirky, but fun interior. Clearly an old apartment, but a great set up (and all modern conveniences) and fun to imagine what it must have been like. View of Acropolis and Museum are exactly like the picture. Host was so nice and met us when we arrived. She left coffee cake and coffee and tea for our breakfast. Balcony is probably lovely in the summer when it's warm. Supermarket is just down the street if you are cooking for yourself, as we did. But also lots of restaurants to choose from in the area. Would pick it again if we go back!
An Outstanding Location in a Spacious Athens Apartment
This apartment and its location made our visit to Athens extra special. It's a roomy, vintage accommodation with Greek antiques in every room and all that you would need for enjoying an excellent time in close proximity to all the sights, shopping districts, and restaurants of Athens. To see the Acropolis out the front windows and the stellar Acropolis Museum across the pedestrian street makes you realize how lucky you are to be here - especially when the ancient site is beautifully lit and glowing at night.
Words cannot express the warm hospitality of the owner and her family. She reflects true Greek hospitality at its very best. Treats were even left on the kitchen table for us to enjoy upon arrival. Greece is amongst the friendliest and most generous countries in the world. It's always a pleasure to travel here.
The apartment is very well-stocked for your comfort and it has a distinct sense of elegance...even two full-sized bathrooms. There are paintings and personal mementos throughout. The apartment is secure in a safe neighbourhood with all amenities close by. Your biggest challenge in choosing restaurants is going to be 'which one', as there are so many. Taxis are plentiful, easy to access, and they know the area well. A convenient little grocery store is a few steps away. The long front balcony facing west and the Metro stop across the street are great assets. To be in the center of Athens, this apartment has amazing, expansive views as most rental apartments do not. In the kitchen, a full-sized fridge is provided which can be rare in European rentals. We certainly had a wonderful week in this spacious apartment and would return in a heartbeat!
Eri's apartment was a perfect location and very accommodating. Yes, it is tired and could use some refreshing but it is clean and facilitates all our needs. Eri was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely go back!!
An excellent location and a gracious host......
Eri’s apartment in Athens is a very convenient choice of lodging when visiting Athens. It is within walking distance to so many interesting and memorable sights as well as offering a splendid view of the Acropolis from the living room.
The apartment windows open directly onto Makrigianni street which has lots of shops and the entrance to the Acropolis Museum grounds. Despite our stay overlapping the final matches of the 2018 World Cup, there were minimal noises at night to disturb our sleep. Programmable air conditioning units are available in each room.
Every room of the apartment features a variety of antique furniture. There are pieces of artwork and souvenirs from around the world displayed all over the walls and shelves. The beds are not very soft but they had clean sheets and pillows. The WIFI signal strength varied depending on where you were located within the apartment. Her small kitchen was sufficient and Eri was thoughtful to have left some breakfast cookies/bread for us on our first night.
For the larger bathroom, the door was frequently stuck and could not be opened from either side without much manipulation. We had to leave the door slightly ajar to avoid someone being locked inside. The addition of a clothes dryer would help as the day we wished to wash clothing a thunderstorm raged overhead and we were unable to hang dry the clothes.
Eri is a very informative and gracious host. She was very communicative throughout our booking process and provided recommendations for good restaurants, shopping districts, and places to see. Overall we were satisfied with the apartment during our stay in Athens.
A home away from home in Athens
On arrival, we were met by Eri and her son Dimitri at the apartment. What a fabulous place and location! There were even a welcoming cake and cookies waiting for us in the kitchen. :) Dimitri was very patient while showing us all the different amenities and facets of the apartment.
The apartment is very spacious. The living area and 2 bed rooms have an enviable view of the Parthenon. There is air-conditioning in every room. Every night, we enjoyed the gorgeous view of the Parthenon from the balcony. The neighborhood looked extremely safe with families out and about into the wee hours of the day.
The kitchen and the laundry facilities are great. The apartment is very well stocked. A minor need was responded to and taken care of promptly. Dimitri also pre-booked taxis for our rides to the port and airport. The metro stop is right outside the apartment building door. The whole apartment building is surrounded by numorous places to eat.
Eri, thank you so much for opening up your apartment to us in such a welcoming way! We hope to be back one day!
