Sue was a great hostess, the house was great, and the breakfast was great. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Brenham/Round Top area!
We spent Memorial Day weekend with some friends in the comfort cottage. The property was great!
Our hostess Sue was amazing! She was so attentive and thoughtful. Her breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a B&B. She used ingredients from her garden and local sources. The property was so beautiful with mowed walking trails in the woods and a stocked pond. She had ponies and donkeys that would follow you on your walks. Sue provided us with apples to feed the ponies which the kids just loved! There were so many fabulous areas to sit and visit including a swing overlooking the pond, a fire pit, and two different patio areas. We had an absolutely wonderful time!
Charming & Cozy!
We stayed on the last weekend of Round Top (Spring 2018). The location was just the right distance from Round Top, Warrenton, etc. The setting is absolutely breathtaking & the hostess is so easy going & accommodating. We loved the 2 dogs (Joey & Bonnie) & also the donkeys & horses. Sue provides an awesome breakfast & is so hospitable. Anything we needed that wasn't in the rental, Sue provided. This is a very charming cottage & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sue's!
A step back in time
Traveled with my parents and their 2 year old great grandson. My parents were struck with memories of the homes of long gone aunts and uncles, while my great nephew enjoyed feeding apples to the miniature horses and donkeys. We were served a very nice breakfast each morning at 8:30, with fresh coffee available at 7:30. Sue is a very welcoming hostess, and we enjoyed visits from the 2 friendly dogs, as well as visiting with other guests at the property. We were there for the spring Round Top antiques fair, and the property was very close and easy to get to.
Thank you, Dawn. I'm so glad you enjoyed the property. I enjoyed meeting all of you and the giggles of that sweet little guy!
Ready to go back!
We had three generations on the trip and all ages had fun from Gia (grandma) to one-year old Olivia. The property was beautiful, food was great and the hosts were friendly and very accommodating. Thank you for everything!
Clay and Family-
I can't tell you how much fun it is to have people out who truly enjoy the property and the peacefulness the area provides. It was a great pleasure hosting your sweet family, and we look forward to having you back! Thanks so much for the kind words!
Wonderful property and Sue is a fantastic hostess.
Wonderful weekend. The property is beautiful and Sue provides little touches that you didn't even know you needed!
Thank you so much! I hope to see you again in the near future!
