The kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of beach towels and bath towels. We had to call the management company to get the air conditioning fixed when the motor died. We also had to have a septic service come to clean it out as there was sewer back up in the basement shower and toilet. The fans all need to have separate pulls for the light and the fans. Those should be fixed. And the lights in the cabinet near the dining room were falling down. There could also be a dust buster available for keeping sand off the floors instead of having to use the big vacuum all the time. The cable should also be updated for HD. We did love the location and plan to be back next year.
Thank you for leaving us some feedback regarding your recent stay! We welcome all comments and recommendations, as this is how we improve in providing exceptional vacation experiences. We are happy to know that you appreciated the well stocked kitchen as well as the essentials needed for enjoying any vacation.
After long days out in the hot sun, it is nice to come back to air conditioning and it is nice to know that it was able to be fixed for you just in time. Again, thank you for taking the time in sharing your comments. Recommendations such as yours is how we can continuously provide stellar service for all future guests. We look forward to seeing you next year.
misleading description of property, poor response time to maintenance call, good location to beach
in reviewing property description on vrbo, the house was to have 4 bedrooms with 4 baths which fit the need of our family size. the house did have 4 bedrooms but were arranged strange. the master bedroom shared a hall bathroom with the bedroom with twin beds. this bathroom had two small sinks and toilets-one for the master bedroom and one for the bedroom with twin beds. a shower joined the two sink and toilet areas. So this was described as two bathrooms on vrbo, but in actuality the shower was shared between the two bedrooms and there was no privacy but shower curtains between the two sinks and toilets. the guest bedroom on main floor had an outside entrance from the main floor by way of a balcony. this bedroom and bathroom was isolated from rest of house. the mother in law suite accessed the main level of the beach house by way of a stairway in the carport area. the covered porch with beach view was our favorite place of the beach house. when we arrived there was a new kitchen stove sitting in the middle of the kitchen area. we immediately made a maintenace call. knowing this was Memorial Day weekend, we did not expect immediate response but felt a service call by Tuesday would be reasonable. The gas stove was not installed until late Friday morning and we had been in property since Saturday. We had planned on cooking the fish we caught when we went deep sea fishing but were unable to do so because the stove had not been installed. We also had an 18 month old child who we had planned on cooking breakfast and other items for but were unable due to no stove. The beachhouse was conveniently located near the beach and tourist attractions. The beach area was not crowded where the house is located. A Kangaroo convenience store is within walking distance of the house. Plenty of parking. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We were highly displeased with the shared shower in the bathroom between the masterbedroom and the bedroom with twins beds. there were no doors but just shower curtains between these two bathroom area-not private at all. one had to close hall doors to bathrooms to keep from hearing someone on the other side of the shower curtains using the sink or toilet. Not being able to use a stove also was an inconvenience and added cost to our trip for we had to eat out. it wasn,t until after a second maintenance call and request that the stove was installed. if i owned the beach house, i would be upset over cost of management
