This house has air conditioning to cool off on those hot days.

The House: Del Mar Lagoon is an Air Conditioned four bedroom, two bath, one story home located on the water in Gig Harbor's scenic harbor waterfront. Beautiful, open concept kitchen and dining area, with views to the water. French doors lead to the covered deck with harbor views. A formal dining room with seating for 10 is spacious and elegant.
The master bedroom has a king bed with separate shower and tub in the en suite master bathroom. The master has a private covered porch, facing the harbor, with private french doors.
The second and third bedrooms each have a king bed. The fourth bedroom has two queen beds. This space works well as a family sleeping space or for just one or two is great as well! The hall bathroom has a bathtub/shower.
The house is located towards the end of the harbor on a street with other waterfront homes. Private driveway parking is available for six cars.
The house has a private outdoor covered living room, privacy curtains that face the entrance garden. On the harbor side off of the living room and master bedroom there are two covered outdoor living spaces.
The lawn and garden lead you to the water's edge to the lagoon & harbor. The house has two kayaks ready for your tour of downtown Gig Harbor.
Just at the end of the block is City Park at Crescent Creek, with a tennis court, basketball court and sand volleyball court. A leisurely 10 minute walk and you are at Anthony's Shoreline Restaurant or several wine shops and eateries.
You'll want to save an hour or two for the harbor maritime museum and the beach basket gift shop & Christmas shop.
The Neighborhood: Del Mar Lagoon is located on Gig Harbor's tidal waterfront which means twice in a 24 hour period the tide comes in and goes out. When the tide is in, enjoy kayaking and the beauty of the water. When the tide is out, enjoy the seagulls and a variety of other Pacific Northwest wildlife.

Great location. Fabulous amenities. The kitchen was the best ever for everything you would need to cook for a family and bbq. The two kayaks were a great addition and success with our 8 and 11 yr old granddaughters accomplishing paddling around the inlet. We had an amazing spring break vacations
A beautiful, well appointed house!
This house was very nicely decorated, very well appointed, and perfect for a short winter stay in Gig Harbor. The location is perfect, close to restaurants and coffee houses.
Beautiful house! The beds were very comfortable everything was first class
Overall very comfy and LOVELY backyard!
House overall was very comfy including the beds, the kitchen was pretty well appointed, the fireplace is a nice touch in the family room. LOVED the back yard. Got to view lots of birds and a daily visit from a Bald Eagle! Awesome. Would stay there again.
A beautiful home, perfect for a large family!
This is a lovely house & provided perfect accommodation for our extended family of 4 adults & 4 young children. It was immaculate, beautifully appointed, with a large kitchen, dining room, living room & master suite. The outdoor furniture & huge yard allowed us to relax & enjoy the gorgeous setting on the water. We particularly appreciated the wonderful location, being able to walk to the park, boat ramp, shops & restaurants and around the harbor to downtown. Finding such a perfect house, and with Warren's friendly assistance, our stay in Gig was a delight!
Great time in Gig Harbor
Every year, my wife and I host an early holiday family gathering before the weather starts getting bad and everyone's schedules become crazy. We pick a different city each year, and this year settled on Gig Harbor. We had 9 family members this year ranging from age 3 to 81. We are pretty picky about the house that we rent each year. It has to have a big kitchen, as we always prepare an early Thanksgiving dinner. It has to have cable/satellite TV, as we have crazed football fans that have to watch Ohio State and Seahawks games. We also love hanging outside and playing games, so it has to have a good sized yard. Lastly, it has to have 4 bedrooms, all with queen and/or king beds. Del Mar Lagoon checked all the boxes and also provided a beautiful, waterfront property with kayaks, seals and eagles. The home was clean, everything worked, and was located within walking distance of town. Warren was very prompt and professional with the booking and security deposit refund. So overall, we would highly recommend (especially when compared to others we have rented). So now, (because I haven't found the "perfect" VRBO yet) here are some areas that could be improved or that future renters should be aware of-
The property is very narrow and there are full time neighbors on both sides (not shown in any photos). Even though we are not a rowdy family, we felt a bit constrained when gathering outside playing cornhole because we were sensitive to being too loud for the neighbors. Only 2 bathrooms (one in the master bedroom) made it a bit challenging for 9 people. TV could be a bit larger for the room. We almost ran out of toilet paper. We did run out of paper towels. There was only 1 dish towel. Check in at 4:00pm and check out at 10:00am (and not a minute earlier or later stressed frequently by the owner in rules) should be more flexible - how about 11:00am check out? Personalized greeting was a nice touch, but then we read the greeting and it was more of another reminder of the rules that you won't have more than 9 people at anytime at the house, although we totally understand that not all renters adhere to the agreement. Again, these are minor criticisms that, if addressed would make this a truly 5-star rental.
City Park at Crescent Creek is 700 feet away.
